A very short question to anybody who KNOWS the answer (maybe GT or GB can answer ?) : what was the source for the video in the latest live releases ?
1) Wembley 86 - Friday concert - was the video taken from
a) Gavin Taylor "test" footage (as claimed by the linear notes despite he claims on the 10 years old documentary that they filmed "some" songs only)
b) the big screen feed (as some people here suggest)
c) DoRo ? (Did they actually film the concert or only the pre-show/backstage footage ?)
d) combination of previous sources
2) Tokyo 75 - why was it incomplete and suffered from PAL speedup, when it was released as NTSC ? Was it sourced from
a) the early 80's PAL video transfer (which would explain why it runs 4% faster), upconverted (at least the part used for the Bluray), and converted to NTSC (and keeping the PAL speedup :-) )
b) a new scan of the film
3) Budapest 86 - Miklos and Rhys claim something different, who is correct ? Was it scanned from
a) original negatives (as implied by Miklos here on QZ - hopefully my mind doesn't play tricks on me)
b) the interpositive (as suggested by Rhys in the booklet)
Sorry if it sounds like a weird question, I just like to have everything in my collection labelled properly :-)

I did not claim anything about the finished product. All i ever claimed was that I had located the location of the physical negative film and various quality interpositives. plus put QPL into contact with the ceo / legal department of the entity who owns the film. With that , opening the way for a release - as the band had no clue about the film reels location. That was in 2004. Never heard from them anymore until this summer. I cant judge the finished product, still waiting for my signed copy (haha!). Woudnt be suprising if the production budget was cheap enough to pay only for an interpositive copy... mind you , there was no demand for any more local input, let it be the original film crew or anything else.
Good questions - hope you get an answer. Probably worth submitting the same questions via the 'ask the experts' option on Brian's website too?
It is frustrating isn't it when we get so many different and completely opposing 'facts' from various official sources.

Thanks for the clarification, I was quoting from memory cause I couldn't find the thread
