GB has confirmed in the latest fan club mag that solo YouTube channels are going to launched for Brian and Roger, in the vein of the new Freddie one.
No mention as to whether The Cross material will be included, or stuff such as Brian's unreleased Albert Hall 98 gig as yet, but certainly a step in the right direction. Conversely, I reckon this means these will sadly never see the light of day as home DVD releases in high quality.
Yes, the initial start of these two channels will be with the regular BM and RT promo videos, like the FM channel, and then as time goes by additional content will be added.
I doubt if The Cross material or the BM concert will be included, certainly not yet anyway.
Anton, you join the Queen Fan Club to receive a magazine either physically or online.
Shame about The Cross stuff, though I can appreciate record company politics on this.
Are there plans to add previously unheard and unseen live audio and video once the promos are up?
Is there also the likelihood of rare stuff like live TV appearances that both have done around the works for their past solo stuff?
By the way Gary, can you advise if the Queen deal with Universal includes Roger and Brian's solo material, or will future solo stuff still be on EMI? (Although I suppose this is a redundant question now they're all the same!)
Cheers
