Hello people! I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers and modern things. So I was wondering what is with the DVD Live at the Rainbow.
Brian May said, when he represented the EBOOK that we will soon be added to this DVD, what does it mean, that we will finally get the live stuff from the seventies?
And whether these things are achievable in the "normal sound carriers" for fools like me, this means on DVD or CD,or only on EBOOK?
How soon can we expect official release of this concert on DVD or CD, if at all?
Greetings!
No no, ignore rocknrollover - you had separate inquiries which aren't covered in the other thread, so I don't see anything wrong with this.
As far as I could tell, Brian was saying that they're working on a Rainbow DVD, which they can then integrate somehow into the ebook, by making the content accessible from the ebook or whatever. The DVD will definitely be a standalone thing though, assuming they get around to it.
He said that they're working on it in the 'coming weeks', so it's hopefully not too far off, I really can't make that judgement though
Ok! Thanks!
It would be very nice if we finally get one thing from the seventies!
If a miracle happens, this will probably be once in September and no sooner. In my opinion it would be a little too much, that means two dvds in a short time, or not?, Main thing is to finally happen once.
Greetings!

He should be telling us every tiny detail about the proposed set, so that when it emerges there is no surprise element at all. We will all have known exactly what we're getting MONTHS in advance. Greg should also tell all the children around the world exactly what Santa has brought them for Xmas. Who cares about expectation and excitement and surprise any more?????

I, we hope that every his word will be correct.
Quite a few people seem to have missed a crucial point in his message... He writes about the PROPOSED set, which means it's by no means certain it's getting a release.
I could go on and list all the other proposed ideas that have been turned down (or watered down beyond any recognition) by Brian and Roger, bu I think you get the idea.

Brian didn't say anything about a proposition, he said quite straightforwardly that they will be working on a Rainbow DVD in the coming weeks.

He sctually said they were going to work on the dvd or WHATEVER.
You can take that as a definite promise (and be disappointed as usual), but It's more likely they will do nothing more than put up a link to an existing youtube video.
Well, it was a fairly specific comment. I'm not getting too excited, but I'm optimistic. They delivered Budapest this year already, so it wouldn't be that far-fetched.
