Just A quick Question. Am I Right in thinking that Ages Back, after "Queen Rocks" was released, there was talk that Queen were going to release a follow up "Queen Ballads" Album & that John Deacon, had been working on doing a "Queen" remix for Freddie's Track "There Must Be More To Life Than This"?
Was this an official statement, or have I just imagined that was said?????
I Just Got to thinking about it, since it's nearly a year now that Roger & Brian had talked about the Jacko demo of the same. So what has happened to the Queen reworkings of the Freddie/Jacko demos? Hmmmn!!!!
There was talk of a follow up "Queen Ballads".
There was also separate talk about John Deacon remixing "There Must Be More To Life Than This" but it wasn't a "Queen" remix. It was just to be a remix of Freddie's solo track. I believe it was supposedly for inclusion on the Freddie Box Set. It obviously wasn't and there has been no word of it since.
Greg Brooks denied it's existence for what it's worth...
From what I've inferred from various sources that Brian and Roger have done their basic work on There Must Be More To Life Than This and State Of Shock and now it was a matter of working out legalities, scheduling, format with the Jackson estate...
I would think next year at the earliest.

Don't be ridicoulus...
We'll never hear these tracks (including Victory).
Oh we're definitely not hearing Victory.
I don't know about the other two. I'm not being ridiculous. I said from what I've gathered from a few different people, Brian and Roger have done their work. Now it's up to both QP and the Jackson estate how/when/whether or not it's released.
