I reckon you are tired of hearing this or similar remarks but Queen's last show was August 9th 1986 at Knebworth Park. There's no Queen without Freddie.

I don't tire of hearing it. I don't have much of a vested interest since it isn't my band ! But I do find it amusing when fans think they somehow have veto power over what the remaining members of a band choose to do after someone dies or leaves the band. With that logic - Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis and AC/DC should have all been renamed.

Now Black Sabbath got lucky because they found an infinitely better singer than Ozzy with Ronnie James Dio but...interestingly, they did finally go out with a new name Heaven & Hell" at the end and Most Sabbath fans only consider Ozzy as Sabbath.

I love when people mention this tour. Iommi came out before hand and could have not been more clear - "We are not Black Sabbath. We are Heaven And Hell. We will be playing songs from two albums. We will NOT be playing Paranoid. Do not shout for it. We will not play it. And don't complain because we did not play it." And of course people shouted and soon complained. I like people.
