I have read "The definite biography" by L-A Jones and there it's written that the vocals for "A winter's tale" were recorded two weeks before his death. Brian has said a lot of times that Mother Love was Freddie's last performance, but when was that then recorded?
Let's not start this again, OK? There are already PLENTY of these "last vocal" topics out there, do yourself a favour please and use Google to find them
what is it with queenzone jerks? someone asks a question and met with the usual retards. who cares if the question is posted somewhere else...you obviously don't get it, people have lives and don't check old posts.
The guy has 119 posts under his belt. He either already knows the answer or he is trying to wind people up (and succeeded).
Am tempted to search for the previous 100+ posts but terrified what I might find....
nag-zone. c'mon folks. don't be bitchy. at least he asks and doesn't make any trolling statements.
it's unclear when the last session did happen. the final date we have evidence for is the 8th (or 9th? cannot remember!) of may 1991. that date was taken off the image of an studio-sheet which appeared on one of the MIH-documentations. assuming that - and the fact that most likely FM was too ill after the video shot of TATDOOL the month of may '91 was the last time he spent recording in a studio. it's reported that he came back some time in september. but it's rather doubtful that he did any more recording at that date, as his health got quite challenging. He spent his holiday in switzerland and probably checked some mixes. but there's no evidence for the latter.
whatever people say - a final recording session in november is a myth. no more no less.
What is the best queen album? Who is your favourite member?
Definite questions that should be asked about Queen in 2012.
This board is on its arse.
(some twat even posted a serious answer ffs)
Ask John Simon, he had an uncanny knack for for knowing all the info you needed to know of the last 6 months of Freddie's life.....course it was all pure bollocks!

I feel ya, man.
The peeps in this place have got to age gracefully...like teacher/pupil status, otherwise it'll just turn ugly.
There are younger fans, and not all are prodding students of the band. I'm amazed at some of the things people KNOW on this site. Usu. Via personal associations.
Either way, petition the site with the bickering.. Add stuff to the FAQ section or add another header similar to "IF YOU DO NOT POST IN THE PROPER SECTION" etc.. An addendum that states "PLEASE USE OUR SEARCH BAR TOOL FOR ANY QUESTIONS THAT MAY HAVE ENTERED DISCUSSION BEFORE: THIS IS A RESOURCEFUL COMMUNITY FOR ALL THINGS RELATED QUEEN (THE BAND)".
Its simply not the equivalent of punching a baby, when someone here naively posts a question.
Just because you and I have heard it (and I have read it---even if I can/cannot quote it definitvely)... Its always useful for "fandom" to help others... That's all I'm saying here, I hope the suggestions take effect with someone with more time...
ALSO: ISN'T IT ABOUT FREAKIN TIME THAT HOME PAGE "ABSOLUTE GREATEST" survey comes down in place of something QZ-ish?
Adam Lambert?
Or something appealing to the cynics...
"Which is the most embarrassing Queen + Collaboration?"
I mean, its been the same since I was an infant.
New people come here and want to start discussion, and they will most likely do it on a subject they are interested in. At least he isn't bullshitting around, don't be so harsh.
Instead of giving your pointless complaints, just don't reply at all.
And I guess you summed yourself up pretty well with that link there Moog.
Guys, someone gets flamed for asking a question? What a shame. What new questions can be asked 20 years after the band really stopped? Some of the elite members keep saying the board is on its arse, but it would be dead without people who only found the band over the last 5-10 years.
If the only answer is 'google it', then fine, close it down, switch the light off. Googling can find the answer to most things, as can other Queen sites, but why berate someone who just wants to ask a question?
What a shame.
