This was the first re-release of the audience recording. This one had the sound degraded to mono.
The matrix number is TAKRL-1377. link
Are you saying this share is the mono LP reissue with that exact matrix number?
If so, it'd be interesting to compare it to the original, as I haven't actually heard it.
Many of the old LP bootlegs have matrix numbers, the same way many products have a serial number. It's just a unique identifier. It's especially helpful when bootlegs are reissued with the same name, so you can tell one from the other.
Indeed, this is better than my copy. It has a bit more tape hiss, but it sounds richer.
So now I'm curious to hear how the original LP sounds. I always thought my CDR was a transfer from it, but clearly not. It's probably a copy of the CD bootleg from the 90s.
Does anyone have the original LP ??

I'm not sure which lp you're asking about, Bob. I know I've got the original Wizardo LP (WRMB 307) but not the TAKRL reissue.
Yes, that's the one I'm searching for !
Have a look here: link
If you could do a transfer to digital and share the WAV/FLAC here, that would be fantastic.

The jap boot cd is easy to recognise because in jailhouse rock the lp needle got stuck during the transfer, so it repeats some bits. As for this boot hunt down the first release! The dutch repro's all feat worsen sound!

Ah yes, I remember that !
The laziness of most bootleg labels summarized into a single song.
I've got the first Re-release of the pink/red one (TAKRL 1377-RS) link
It's pretty damn good, from memory. I believe there's no back image, but a former owner has pasted (I think) a picture of Freddie to the back card.
That's standard for these bootlegs - just a piece of paper glued on.
Any chance you could upload a transfer of your LP ?
Slithybill, you too .. !?
The more the merrier.

Yep, that's the one I've got. I was a kid when I bought it and played the hell out of it so I hope it's not too scratched up. I should be able to transfer it this weekend.

I could, but I'm afraid it'd be a bit shit.
Or it might not be.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take !
Go for it :-)

I have compared six different digital transfers of this bootleg from the original Wizardo WRMB 307 LP, Kornypone TAKRL-1377 LP and Doctor-01 Japanese CD. In each the vinyl source jumps in the exact same places on every transfer, once during Big Spender and twice in Jailhouse Rock. The master tape would be a great find.
