Adam Lambert and exciting news in one sentence... Naah. |
e-man 05.04.2012 13:20 |
damn it...I thought they would have taken the lack of sales at knebworth as a sure sign |
Gaabiizz 05.04.2012 13:59 |
I hope they make a tour, and visit parts of the world! |
mooghead 05.04.2012 14:39 |
Please for the love of a god I don't even believe in let the whole thing be scrapped due to crap ticket sales. God bless you John Deacon xx |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 05.04.2012 14:40 |

And herein lies the challenges Brian and Roger face: 17 total pages about a collector pissing match, 7 posts about what they are doing these days. |
inu-liger 06.04.2012 00:12 |
I think a return to discussing Q+AL would be a welcome distraction from the renewed attacks on the collectors |
Bo Rhap 06.04.2012 01:14 |
As we have all said time and time again. Why dont Brian and Roger just go out and do a tour all by themselves instead of tagging along the Karaoke Kid.Or get Paul Rodgers back to sing. |
Pierre 06.04.2012 01:27 |
Paul Rodgers is in a band...Bad Companny..you know his own BAND!? Jeez how hard it is to understand. Give us now some good arenas to see QUEEN+....YaY. |
Pierre 06.04.2012 01:29 |

e-man 06.04.2012 02:24 |
had enough tickets been sold, sonisphere would NOT have been cancelled |
philip storey 06.04.2012 04:41 |
If you want to see Brian and Roger again you have to accept Adam into the fold.If you can't then please dont windge and moan all over this site and stay at home and watch Eastenders ! |
Russian Headlong 06.04.2012 05:31 |
we don't have to accept lambert at all. the sonisphere fiasco has proven that. I agree with Pierre, get PR or Jeff Scott Soto on vocals. |
john bodega 06.04.2012 06:45 |
Conceive of the perfect vocalist for the job - and kiss him goodbye, because there's every likelihood he wouldn't sell any more tickets than Adam Lambert. Think about the Princes Trust show last year - that was the best live thing that Queen's done in years; Tom Chaplin outdid years of shite collaborations in one song, but is anyone really talking about it? Did it turn heads? Nope. People should put to bed the notion that a good singer would miraculously fix the problem that big numbers of people don't really want to see what's left of Queen right now. One can blame Adam Lambert, but he's just the poor sap who got picked at this point in time. It could easily be someone else. |

Moaning ain't gonna change a thing, shows with lambert will happen, those who attend will love it and those who don't will watch it on youtube and slag it off as per usual and continue to live in the past????This has to be the most boring debate ever on Queenzone. lets just enjoy the music for another couple of years whilst they still have the strength to do 2hr plus shows.... |
philip storey 06.04.2012 13:16 |
Well said ,because in a couple of years there will be no more tours,so you wont have anything to bitch about ! |
Benn 07.04.2012 02:13 |
This is all so fucking stupid. Queen only exists a distant memory........a note in the annals of Rock History. The SAD thing is that both Brian and Roger know that the only chance they have of continuing their musical careers is by gripping DESPERATELY to the Queen name. If they had any courage whatsoever, they would back their OWN careers as solo performers and do something that way. Or, team up and do something as "Taylor / May". The Brian May Band.......? The Cross..........? New music as opposed to Greatest Hits time and time again? That Twat Beach is bright enough to know that the Queen name can still be used to keep him and the various hangers-on in a lifestyle to which they have been accustomed and enough pressure can be exerted on Brian and Roger to ensure that they go out again and again, flogging a horse that has been dead for some 20 years. By dragging in the less talented (Lambert et all) they can knock out the odd soundbite regarding the future of music. Whilst we 'discuss' it, it's giving the whole thing creedence. Whilst we buy tickets, we're making That Twat Beach rub his greasy palms in joy. |

Looks like Spike has taken his message down from FB - smacked wrists I presume! |
clifton 07.04.2012 04:54 |
You talk shit.... You'll see how many people buy the tickets! It'll be sold out, that's the bottom line. Stop friggin moaning |

Bands like Deep Purple,Sabbath,Kiss,Yes,Genesis,Floyd etc have all had personel changes over the years and carried on.So i dont think that Brian and Roger are doing anything wrong. There are a lot of Queen fans on this site who are very unrealistic. Why should Brian and Roger not have a bit of fun on the road and giving some fans who did not get to see them with Freddie a blast. |
Benn 07.04.2012 05:57 |
Are they having fun? Did you read any of the interviews Brian gave during the +PR collaboration. Have you seen him 'enjoying himself' at any show under the Queen banner post Freddie? They're controlled by their inflated lifestyles, That Twat Beach and the need to continue to dragging something around that has been dead for quite a while and, frankly, stinks. |
philip storey 07.04.2012 09:56 |
Brian and Roger certainly dont need to do it for the money and yes i do think that they still enjoy peforming.Just one more point,i have only heard Adam Lambert do a couple of songs, but do you really think that Brian has not put a few Queen songs for him to perform to see if it sounds okay.Brian is a perfectonist and i feel sure he would need an idea that Queen&AL would work.Or do you think he does not give a fuck who sings the songs just give me the money !!! |
Holly2003 07.04.2012 10:58 |
Judging by the setlists for Queen + PR you might think they were just in it for the money. Rather than pick songs suited to Rodgers' voice (It's Late, KYA etc), they went for a greatest hits package. But I think money is only one aspect. They are old men and musically it appears they don't want to do anything particularly difficult or which involves a large amount of work. A May-Taylor tour might for example mean having to do pre-publicity and given Brian's commitments to badgers, billboards, astronomy, photography, talent show contestants and musical theatre, he doesn't have the heart or the time for it any more. And Roger is more interested these days in chicken drumsticks than wooden ones. That's why the Queen brand still proves attractive to them both -- least amount of effort and most profit. But there's not much musical credibility in it. |

Can you come to America please, and get over the Hot Space Crazy Eddy fiasco already? You DO have fans here, you know. |
