Brian May appeared at the encore of My Chemical Romance's set at Reading.
MCR were awesome despite Gerard Way's voice being shot up.
I wonder if Brian May (and/or Rog Taylor) would appear on Muse's set on Sunday?
Brian played on the tracks "We Will Rock You" & "Welcome To The Black Parade"
Is available to watch on BBC iplayer - Reading & Leeds festivals - My Chemical Romance & Beady Eye, link
Starts at about 47mins mark.
Cheers for the link. That was great; I was fearing that Brian might look like an embarrassing grandad with one if the younger, trendier bands, but he didn't look out of place and looked to be thoroughly enjoying it, and he sounded great too!

that's probably due to the pair of gumboots they've lent him.
As MCR are damn close behind Queen as my fave band, this was AMAZING for me. I cried. Sappy? Yes, but I don't care. I wish I'd been there in person. It blew me away. I have seen and read so many interviews with MCR talking about how much Queen has influenced them and I know it was a dream come true for them. Did you see Ray Toro's grin during the whole time playing with Brian? He was giddy as a schoolgirl, such a Queen fanboy.
I have a torrent of those bits, btw. And there's a couple of vids of Gerard talking about how it felt to play with Brian and what Queen means to them - as well as a Happy Birthday wish video for Freddie :)
