i must say i am most impressed with some forums on here,
there are a lot of people who know many things about specific aspects,of certain recordings,concerts,quotes.etc.
strange sounds on recordings, messages in songs.
your knowledge of queen,queen recordings,albums,quotes.
never ceases to amaze me.....
even picking out small things like,,,,,,,,,edinburgh 82..
someone swore it was joan jet?????????it was teardrop explodes(well the night i was there it was).
or has the key for bo rap been changed in the last japan concert............
or even did fred know knebworth was the last gig.
my hat comes off to all the people who have the knowledge and time to listen to,recordings, watch video for hours, just to give all at qzone, the lowdown on the various changes during, each set and each recording.....
me,im just a humble listner of one of the best bands ever.

Me too! I used to *think* I knew a lot, but I'm just a primary school pupil amongst those sitting a Masters Degree :)
When it comes to people like Pittrek, Sir GH, Sebastian, and some of the more 'elite' members of this forum, they really know their stuff, no question. After years and years of reading stuff on here, sure I know quite a bit (though I'm nowhere near the others that I aforementioned), but there's always more to know about this band.
i absolutely bow down to the real afficionadoes oh here
i have been a queen fan since 1974......have had my own favourite events/songs/gigs etc....but i was there for the ride...i just enjoyed it...and enver really analysed it to the depth of these guys...i wish i had the ability and know-how
am happy to share my small-time, real-time experiences with people, but i realise they are probably not worthy by comparison to those that understand better
David, I can very definetely tell you that it was Heart who were the support in Edinburgh 82 the night I saw Queen. Great memories (especially being so close to Ann and Nancy Wilson both of whom were well fit in those days!!!!), but what an awful venue
