During a recent interview Rhys Thomas, Comedian & Producer of the new Queen documentary said "Brian gave us some home movie footage of his first band Smile playing at the Royal Albert Hall in 1969. It didn't have any sound, but we've dubbed one of their early tapes onto it"
Now the footage will be the grainy stuff we've already seen, but I wonder what he meant by "one of their early tapes"????
Here's hoping it's from a live concert by Smile & not just the studio recordings.
That interview is here for those that haven't seen it. link
I love the last part which states Freddies instructions to Jim Beach about what to do with his music after he died:
"Do what you like, but never make my music boring..."
Boring? BORING????
Do I NEED to say it QPL????
Constant rehashes of the same material IS boring!!!!!
