Does anybody here think that at anytime in the future Brian could potentially appear with Lady Gaga for a performance of You and I? To what degree do you think that .... 100%?
The reason I am asking has to do with what went on in this live performance of You and I at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
You don't have to watch all of the near 6 minutes of it (has a bit of bad camera) but zero in on 3:30 onward and especially 4:02: link
Does anyone think this is trouble in the making? Let's say she is up for a Grammy and wants to perform this at the Grammy's and just maybe (with Brian?). Uh oh, take another look at that video!
She has been singing this song all over TV in the USA - lots of national exposure: American Idol (2x), The Today Show in NYC, Oprah Winfrey, etc ....
Personally, I think her shoe and that guitar need to get a room ( and maybe have a cigarette together), but what do you think?
I think Lady Gaga is one of the few talented musicians out there now. And yes, I can definitely see her doing a duet with Brian.
She is very influenced by Queen. Even her stage name, Gaga, came from a Queen song. She loves Queen.

I Don't think so. Brian's a veggi' and does not like cruelty to animals, where-as Lady Ga Ga wears clothes made out of dead animals (rashers of bacon me thinks!!!!)
Brian most likely recorded his bits at his home studio & then sent them along to ga ga's studio to be put into the mix.
Ok does anyone else think its brian singing? Also on the special edition album the track before is called The Queen......Killer queen and the phoenix in the sky....very queen tribute track.
If the track were to be a single (which is quite possible) I'l like Brian to apepar in the video, in the same way that Slash appeared in the promo video for the track he played on for Michael Jackson
Offical You and I contains elements of We Will Rock You. Brian May plays guitar but sadly its not his vocal....does sound like him but says its someone called Mutt. Shame oh well maybe this song will be a single release with a Lady Gaga version of We Will Rock You and who knows one day she will sing Radio Ga Ga. "The killer queen inside me's coming to say hello"

Now think about that possibility for a moment ... that would be pretty interesting (especially potential wardrobe). Some of her videos have over 300 million views (such as Bad Romance). Her following is staggering.
Gaga says her works are a "conversation" and "organic". She also says it's all about "pushing the boundaries of love and acceptance." But on the above video from LA it seems to be about simple assault between a shoe and a guitar (or maybe that is a "conversation" between a shoe and guitar).
Anyway she was on Saturday NIght Live this past weekend as the musical guest. The guest host was Justin Timberlake. They interacted in several skits and she was quite funny as was he. She sang other songs from Born This Way.
^ The above gives an excellent sense of the dichotomy of Ms. Gaga. At 25, she still comes out with a young woman's share of naive and largely meaningless mush, both oddly self aggrandizing and sweetly well intentioned. Sometimes she's an unapologetically prurient fame monster. Sometimes she's a sharp, funny, insightful and substantial person with talents and a story well worth sharing. At her best she's all of it at the same time. Overall, I say go Gaga girl. And I think 'You and I' is a worthwhile song, though I hope to hear a different mix someday that doesn't perhaps suffer from having to fit into an industrial/synth/pop album. Love to hear less of the somewhat intrusive electronic back beat and more of that guitar.
