Brian playing guitar for Lady Ga Ga
| Sebastian 17.04.2011 19:19 |
How long before he and Roger declare she was Freddie's favourite singer? |
| john bodega 17.04.2011 22:43 |
Ouch. I guess these things happen from time to time. I only wish Deacy would come out and say something relevant like he did when they played with Robbie Williams. |
| YannickJoker 17.04.2011 22:49 |
"I didn't want to be involved with it and I'm glad, I've heard what they did and it's rubbish. Let's just say Lady Gaga is no Freddie Mercury. P.S.: When will I finally recieve this months cheques? John Deacon" |
| inu-liger 17.04.2011 23:59 |
Nice, I can't wait to hear this collaboration :-) (Screw what anyone else says!) |
| pittrek 18.04.2011 02:12 |
OMG when did it happen ? |
| Back2TheLight 18.04.2011 02:19 |
It'll only be a matter of time until she teams up with Brian and Roger and they'll say that she has a unique voice and is a REAL talent, a real cut above the rest, right? Ughh... |
| Back2TheLight 18.04.2011 02:23 |
This one is for all the Lady GaGa fans out there...enjoy! :) link |

What interests me more in this story is Brian playing on a Mutt Lange produced track. As they are both known perfectionists, and both previously innovators of sound, I wonder how the collaboration went. |

pissing on the legend again, as if robbie williams, pepsi and 5ive were not bad enough...so sad |
| Legy 18.04.2011 11:47 |
How is Brian playing with Lady GaGa pissing on a legend? Is it Queen + Lady GaGa? No, he can work with anyone he wants. To quote Roger Taylor, "well, thanks for your concern, but it’s my f**king legacy". Roger and Brian aren't dead. They can work with anyone they want. If you don't like it, don't listen to the end product. I personally despise Lady GaGa, so I won't be listening. |
| YannickJoker 18.04.2011 12:31 |
Lady Gaga isn't the worst of the worst. She has some good tunes, nothing really great, mind you, but Brian has worked with people far worse than her, so I don't think it's a step back. It isn't a step forward either though. |

Great, can't wait for her new album!! |

If this was Facebook I would give Pilot in Play's comment a thumbs up! People make such a fuss about this things. For Freddie's sake, Brian and Roger can do whathever they want to do with their lives and careers! |

Ughh... ============================= Personal tastes notwithstanding, there absolutely is a real musician in there. In the Dance/Pop world she certainly is a cut above an awful lot of them. Many fellow musicians think a great deal of her, so if Brian does he wouldn't be alone. It's certainly a compliment to Brian & Queen as at this point in her career she could probably summon anybody. With regard to the meat dresses and such, on the one hand we can see the self promotion with some degree of cynicism but on the other hand all that stuff really is performance art. At least she's doing something with her body other than stuffing breast implants in it. She's been doing 'You and I' live for a while now - since last summer I think. Don't know what the arrangement on the album with be, but here it is if anybody is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_yybcsoUbc |

What they did from Queen to Innuendo/Made in heaven is set in stone. No matter how bad they are or who they work with in their Golden years can't take that away. Who knows, maybe the song is very good, Brian was alway's great on ballads. The one thing no one could deny is Queen's Influence on all forms of Rock n roll. Lady Ga Ga, Foo fighter's, Muse. Metallica Show their wide range of Influence, Not every band could say that. I admit I cringe when someone say's Lady Ga Ga is a genius. The word "Genius" is so over used these days. |

That's kinda awesome! :D but I don't really like lady GaGa, because of her, all the little girls who should still be dressing up as faries or princesses, or playing mums and dads, are becoming little sluts who wear skimpy little things, selling out their bodies like Barbie dolls, or even playing real life mums and dads! But on the other hand, it's great to see some good music/ians out there going in mainstream once again. This may be the only Lady GaGa album I own :P maybe now when I say "Brian May" to my friends, they won't say, "who the hell is that you old school Betty?" lol |
| vetty_boop;) 19.04.2011 06:18 |
it would be the only Lady GaGa album I own!!! :P |

Gaga has talent, but is no lady. Perhaps Brian can lead her with a more mature influence to clean up her act. |

Anyway, good ballad & not in the worst case senario type of song "Rah Rah, Oooh La La" song. Here's a link to it:- link & While we are at it:- link |

Just listened to the single Gaga released yesterday (though it was apparently leaked late last week). 'Judas' five days before Easter. You can't accuse this woman of any sort of timidity. lol Christians of all stripes predictably flipping out everywhere. |

They say the human brain does not fully mature until age 25 (for some it may take longer it appears) - so maybe after she gets a few more years under her belt she'll have the presence of mind not to wear a meat dress. Also, just revealed in a press interview ... Lady Gaga is the chosen God mother for Elton John's baby boy. Is there no one exempt from Lady Ga Ga's spell???? |
