Hi people who are you going to see in concert this year?So far i have tickets for "Big Country",Brian &Kerry","Iron Madien" and "Duran Duran."I would like to have seen Saxon aswell but i mainly have to go to concerts with seating as i am a wheelchair user.I hope later in the year that the "Stereophnics","Gary Numan" and "Queen" in some form will announce some gigs.Who are you planning to see?
So far, I am going to see Burton Cummings in May. That won't mean anything to most, but he's the former co-driving force behind The Guess Who (American Woman, No Sugar Tonight). He had (and continues to have) a great solo career following The Guess Who and he's one of Canada's best secrets.

Journey with Foreigner and Styx on the same bill. Not that bothered about Styx tbh. Thats all so far ======================
An friend and old boyfriend of mine is a music guy and was some kind of travelling promoter with Foreigner a few years ago. He's got pictures on his Facebook of he and Lou Gramm and other sundry people. Lou Gramm has aged into somebody that looks very, very strange. Poor guy. Love Foreigner though! Larry Gowan makes my ears bleed freely and life threateningly. Good call on Styx.
I still haven't got the tickets but I'm seeing the Alan Parsons Project next month.
I hope some other interesting artists come to this side of the world this year.

Just seen a recent pic of Lou Gramm - he does look rather different. Its a shame in a way that he isnt singing with Foreigner, but then after all he went through its not that surprising really. As for Styx, they were way too soft rock for me
No tickets right now.
Will go to see KISS and Judas Priest if/when they tour (supposedly they'll be in the U.S. in the fall).
Looks like Extreme will be next year.
RUSH will be next year.
For some reason One Night Of Queen did not play at a local venue (they played there in 2008, 2009, and 2010), so didn't
get a chance to see them this year.

Playing at the Hillbilly Carwash wasn't high on their list of priorities.

Clapton and Iron maiden for me, and possible Rush if I can swing it.

I really hope you end up being able to swing it. Even if it's not straightforward and not easy I think it's one of those things where once there you'd be so happy you were. Rush are just...Rush. They're Rush! :) They'll probably be around again, but they won't be playing Moving Pictures uninterrupted in it's entirely again.
Did you ever end up watching 'Beyond the Lighted Stage'?

Not sure what's around the corner right now, but getting a ticket or tickets for Rush in London is a priority.
Still haven't seen the DVD -- one for birthday/Xmas I think.

I asked because I was SO happy to have seen the doc before I saw the show. It added a whole other layer of special somehow because you come away with the band history of course, as one always does, but I wasn't as prepared to feel so...I don't even know what the right word is...moved maybe...moved by an infectious warmth that flows from their personal relationship and the things they've overcome as a band. There's a 30 minute or so bonus of a private dinner at a hunting lodge on the extras that was one of my favourite things on the whole DVD. There's bits of it as the credits roll, but the whole thing is there in the extras.
So, I'm not sure what your mother told you but your birthday is...um....April 27. You're a Taurus! You are productive yet fruitful and are good at crossword puzzles and gardening. Your flower is the calluna vulgaris and there is a strong possibility you are actually Scottish (Sorry! I don't write this stuff so don't shoot the messenger.). You look devastatingly happy beside steak and beer. Your lucky number is 34,484,234,212.09 and your lucky word is 'tarpaulin'. Be good to yourself. Order the DVD. And Happy Birthday BTW!
