This is what Roger says:
They’re talking about a TV thing that is going to be on the internet, where we have a
lot of really great singers as guests. It will be more of a sort of intimate
show in a way, with a little mixing of videos and stuff in there as well. So we
are thinking of doing that.
Brian and I sort of decide to do things suddenly, out of the blue we decide to do
something, like the tours with Paul Rodgers, like “Come on we’ll do it” and
they happened in a snap, so then you have to plan ahead a bit, but I’d like to think we would do something
live.
But Brian...
Why don’t you get someone to sing?’ I don’t feel like it, I don’t feel like I want someone there being Freddie. We did go out with Paul Rodgers, which I think was a great success in many ways. But it was really successful in many ways because he wasn’t Freddie and he wasn’t trying to be Freddie. He came with all his material, all his legend, all his catalogue. And yes it was a nice equal partnership in a sense. But it would be very hard to do that again, and I don’t think I want to do it again. I’m happy doing the things that we are able to do with Queen. One of the things is the musical, it’s great that we can have the We Will Rock You musical. It’s like we’re Uncles or Fathers to this musical and this is a great way of communicating Queen music and keeping it very much alive, it’s not fossilised, it’s young people and musicians.

If it is anything like the Elvis Presley show they did back in 2000 (i think) where they had artists like Norah Jones and No Doubt do Elvis songs it's going to be great!
Let's hope they invite proper artists!
As long as Island records don't use it as an excuse to flog their other, or latest 'trendy' artists that have no idea or interest in Queen's catalogue - I hope it's 'credible' artists only, and ones who have previously cited Queen as an inspiration, influence etc. There should also be soem of Queen's peers and contemporaries there too
Gary Mullen.
No wig. No fake moustache. Shave his head. No Freddie outfits. No Freddie moves. Write a few new songs that will be his, Brian's, and Roger's songs to show what they can do. Get Spike, Jamie, and Danny. Do the catalog justice.
He can make those songs come alive again.
I just don't see the need for guest jokers. The show they did recently with Tom Chaplin and ... that other guy whose name escapes me ... was fantastic, but it also proves that they can still play. I've gotten the vague feeling ever since the 2nd PR tour that Brian's heart isn't in it the way it used to be, which is a shame really. They've still got something to offer, even if he doesn't see it.

Brian and Roger have a band. Get on the phone and call Spike, Jamie, and Danny.
Write new material. The two of them can handle the vocals.
