This is my first post so please forgive me if I sound like an idiot. Love me some Queen, Freddie, Brian and the crew but I'm looking for something that I'm assuming isn't that popular, the unreleased BASIC Bootlegs album. I've seen that people here have shared it a few times and I was hoping someone might have mercy on me and repost it. Is the mp3 version the only one in circulation or is there a better quality rip around, maybe in FLAC?
In return, does anyone need a copy of the Trent Reznor remix of Tie Your Mother Down? I've also got a FLAC rip of the Stone Cold Crazy promo CD with two remixes. Just let me know and I'd be happy to share. Thank you!

Welcome Dave3
You might have better luck with your inquiry by posting it in the "Sharing the Music - Request" portion of the forum.
I dunno if those tracks are considered "official" or not as some of them were unreleased, some were released as promos and are out of print, and some are I assume still in print on the 1991 Hollywood remasters.
Good luck!
Just in case anyone is interested, I added an upload of the Trent Reznor remixes of Stone Cold Crazy and Tie Your Mother Down to my post in the requests section.
Strictly speaking, at least in the United States, every work of artistic creation is protected by copyright from the moment its put into a fixed medium, which would cover unreleased material as well, so ...
Zoidberg's right, technically speaking it's illegal to share anything that someone else owns the rights to, but often times things are so held up in legal limbo that no one really cares because no one gets paid regardless. I get the impression the BASIC Bootlegs comp might be one of those things since the band may not have approved of all the mixes and some of the samples may not have been cleared. Supposedly the BASIC beats sampler, a compilation on Hollywood BASIC that contained the Rick Rubin mix of We Will Rock You and the Phase 5 version of Another One Bites The Dust, was deleted due to sample clearance issues, but who really knows. Honestly, the Phase 5 mix was so filled with samples it wouldn't surprise me if it was one of the causes, especially since just about everything else, interludes excluded, appeared elsewhere at one point or another. Still though, I'd love the chance to hear this thing. I'm hoping the Mr. Mixx, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie, Ice Cube and Organized Konfusion mixes will be awesome.
After a little investigation I found that all of the tracks from the BASIC Bootlegs album are on the Snow Producciones BASIC Remixes collections. Anyone have those? They look pretty sweet!
