I'm looking for a higher quality color version of Queen performing Seven Seas of Rhye on Top Of the Pops in 1974? I know it exists as I saw it in the Stormtroppers in Sillouttes trailer. There has to be a better quality version somewhere without all the lines. I'm not even asking for high quality but just better quality and in color.
Youtube, official queen channel.
Quality looks similar to my copy, maybe it comes from the DVD which "somebody" sent to BBC a few years ago ? :-) It would be quite funny :-)
0:05 Tokyo press conference 1975

0:12 Tokyo airport
0:13 SSOR TOTP
0:15 from Mott The Hoople documentary
0:17 Houston (?) backstage
0:19 Killer Queen TOTP
0:21 Earls Court (which night ?)
0:25 Bob Harris documentary
0:28 Hyde Park
0:36 WATC video shoot (?) - well, the venue DOES look bigger

Sir GH wrote: Thanks. Nice barrage of clips and quotes. Where's the footage at 0:36 from? The WATC video shoot? But the venue looks a bit too big for that, no?
Reply: No, it's not too big. There was a 900 capacity on the day (I was there) link
Well, the footage of Earls Court is from the first night right in the beginning of Be Bop A Lula which is in Rock'n'Roll Medley.
As for 0:36 it's hard to say, it really seems like it's from WATC video shoot but the venue seems to be a bit bigger that in New London Theatre. But maybe really WATC video shoot? I think so :-)
Check my youtube channel, link - I am at work and I have no youtube access from here, so I can't post the direct link., but I think it was shared a loooooong time ago here

That looks like the same one that's all around youtube (black and white in the beginning and a bit color in the end).
