Nowadays it seems the majority of Queen concerts over the past few decades are available to listen to. I'd like to discuss what their very best concerts were in terms of band performance, not necessarily crowd involvement. Here's a possible top 10 list, taken from Queenlive.ca:
* Tokyo 5-1-75
* Boston 1-30-76
* Glasgow 5-30-77
* Copenhagen 4-13-78
* Newcastle 12-4-79
* London 12-8-80
* Buenos Aires 3-8-81
* Leeds 5-29-82
* Tokyo 5-9-85
* Stevenage 8-9-86
I've listened to several of these and really liked them; personally London and Stevenage are a bit too distant for me to enjoy though. Do you have any alternates that you'd include? If so--important--which concert(s) would you take out to make room? I'm doubting we'll ever come to a total consensus, but maybe we can all agree on some recordings that are absolutely essential.

1. Newcastle 12/4/1979
2. Rock in Rio 1/12/1985
3. Leiden 4/24/1982
4. New York 11/17/1978
5. Leiden 6/12/1986
6. Glasgow 12/1/1979
7. Buenos Aires 3/8/1981
8. New York 12/2/1977
9. Brussels 8/24/1984
10. Boston 1/30/1976
There are plenty of live recordings we haven't heard yet and I have a feeling many of those would be on this list such as 12/22/1977 (Inglewood), some North American jazz tour recordings, and some crazy tour recordings.
Worst queen concert ever is either Dallas 1978 or one of those terrible Works tour gigs.
Dallas actually has worst bloopers. The performance of Bicycle Race is pretty bad. But I'd like you to comment on my list of top 10. It's changed a bit since I made that video.
Well I'm surprised that Philly and Copenhagen aren't on there. Leiden has a fantastic audience--but heard better overall band performances from that HS tour. Boston is fantastic, Brussels is nice, and there's good old Leiden!
And there's fucking Newcastle! :D
Copenhagen really isn't that great to be honest. The only reason why I put it on that video was because a lot of people think that that goes intro the greatest Queen concerts (along with 5/1/1975), but with this list it was more of what I honestly thought.
New York and Philly are way better than Copenhagen. NY second night is better than Philly though...Philly has a couple bloopers plus I like how they played Doin' Alright at NY second night. The atmosphere is great at both though.
I'd like to see what SirGH thought about my list.
