THIS IS ONLY A UPGRADE TO THE BREAKDOWN BOOTLEG (DREAMER OAKLAND) PLEASE CHECK THE TEST FILE OR DOWNLOAD THIS ONE WHEN YOU HAVE THE DREAMER OAKLAND ON YOUR HARDDRIVE!
Here is a very nice upgrade to the previous versions arround. So don;t buy the DREAMERS OAKLAND pro cdr from Breakdown. Download this one. It features GSTQ complete. Sound is very clear and not muffled as the Breakdown version. This mustbe many many generations lower than the Breakdown version. link I link II PART I PART II

Indeed, it is better than the Breakdown bootleg... but this is the common version that has been going around for as long as I've been collecting. The recently released Uxbridge bootleg was shared here too, and it's an upgrade of this version. I'm sure it's the same old tape source.. they just EQ'd it and corrected the speed.
As you all know, megaupload is token offline by the FBI.
Since Multiupload.com has also some problems with their services at the moment, I will upload for the time being to a alternate service like multiupload, called uploadmirrors.com.
Here are the new fresh links to the original files which were shared in this topic: link link link link
Cool, will have to grab this version tonight. Since I'm the one who originally taped this concert, I get a real kick out of the bootlegs of it that have come out!
Just to explain some of the history of how this source came into circulation: I never was much into trading tapes until the early internet days, when I started to realize just how much great stuff was actually out there. When I got a stand-alone CD burner as a gift, I did a trade for some Queen boots to a collector who I unfortunately, do not even remember who it was (but may very well be a member on here, I don't know!), and included a CD rip of my Oakland recording. This was straight from my master tape to CD, and I didn't even record one for myself! So whoever has this CD from me has the only copy direct from the master tape. The one boot I downloaded of this is definitely my tape, but sounds to be at least a 1st Gen copy. So perhaps the person I sent the CD to, made cassette copies of it?
Right now, I no longer have a working cassette player to make another straight copy of it (plus all of my tapes are in storage), but it's on my "some day" list to do...
