Hi there, I have reluctantly made the decision to sell my Queen rareities but as I never invisiged my having to sell them I have no real idea of there worth, I thought I would start with just a few things, I have the Brian May sixpence I bought at the show in Liverpool, the Hammer to fall live cover 12", this is genuine by the way, I bought it myself from WH Smiths back in 1984, the Japanese mini CD boxset, coded TODP 2251 62 and Rpger Taylors Happiness Album numbered 1058. All are in good or mint condition. I don't wish to break any rules here so I just need advice on what I should be looking for price wise on sites such as E-bay, I have much more to sell but this is just a start.
On sites like ebay, it's just a matter of luck - we recently had a discussion here on QZ about the live at the Beeb LP, and whether or not it was "rare". I said it had been going for about £70 recently but another user, people on the streets, said he's been seeing it go for £20. These items are quite tricky to price as well - I am a dealer myself, and so I'll give you an idea of what I'd look for. Next to that, I'll give examples of some of the prices I've seen on ebay:
Hammer To Fall 12" Live Sleeve: My price would be £120-£150 (Had one, sold it at £140). Seen it go for as little at £75 though. That's ebay for you.
Roger Taylor, Happiness: My price £35-£50 (sold one for £50). Seen it go for as much as £80 on ebay, but also as little as £20. I know a guy who bought one for 40p!!!
Japanese 3" CD boxset - My price: £120 (Got that!). Seen it priced higher on ebay but they rarely sell at that. Seen it go for as little as £40.
Sixpence: Dunno, which pressing? I bought one for £5.
Confused? You will be!
Thanks for this, I don't know about which pressing till I have a look, I don't suppose you know of a price for things like a postcard from Budapest that plays Brighton Rock, an uncut 7" picture disc of Breakthru or a white label, radio use only version of Keep Yourself Alive, any help would be much appreciated.

Nice reply!
I recently got a Japanese 3" singles Collection for $65 USD including shipping.
I also won an auction for one Electric Fire orange vinyl LP album + Nazis 12" clear vinyl + Foreign Sand 12" PD for $39.99 USD + $16 USD shipping to Mexico. That's $55 USD for the 3 items.
I think that was a good deal, considering how much the Electric Fire LP alone costs.
Still, I need to receive them safely at home first.
Shipping to Mexico is not 100% reliable. However, it's not as unreliable as some people think. I have had perhaps 8 lost packages in the mail in the last year and a half, after maybe 70 or 80 purchases. Damn you eBay for being addictive :).

No problem! As for the others, again it's just about luck, but.....
Breakthru Uncut P/D: I'd be looking for something in the region of £140 for this. I've never personally had one, either in my collection or to sell on, but beware it has been going for as little as £63 in recent times. You'd be selling yourself short at that, anything under £100 is poor.
Keep Yourself Alive: Never had this, but if the recent lot of "promos" is anything to go by, you'd struggle to get above £50. I reckon it should be at least double that. If you mean that live white-label LP called KYA, it's a boot worth no more than £20.
Postcard records? I think I heard about some Polish ones ages ago, but not this. Can anyone else help here??
