the death anniversiry of the great Freddie Mercury. :'(
what are we all planning to do as a little tribute the the guy?
as for me, im gonna listen to all of his solo song and late Queen songs (1989 - 1991 ish)
and draw pictures of him all day,
and dress like him a little bit, addidas shoes(80's), a bit of jewely (70's)
and find a news paper artice that is saying mean stuff about Queen, wheather it be against brian and his campains for animal rights, or one about freddie, basicaly stand up againt journalists for makeing freddie's life hell by stalking him day and night, and not to mention all the crap they were righting about him when he got the Aids results back and one of his "friends" told the news papers all about it so that he could then be pain sod loads of money. and makeing freddie to scared to wak around in public with jim.
so whats everyone else planning?

Well, during my first years as a Queen fan (1991-1995) when still in school I always lighted a candle, played "Bohemian Rhapsody" and felt quite depressed on that day.
Today, I will probably light a candle as well (if I find one in my flat), play one or two Queen songs and then go out and have a pint of cider or beer (... mhhh maybe more than one), toasting to King Mercury.
Freddie Mercury .... A True King and never forgotten

Hi all
I live in Australia and it was the 24th yesterday a very said day for me i must say
It just wasnt Freddie Mercury's death but it was also the death off my cousin who died on the same day 8 years ago :(
But i listened to Queen music all day yesterday, I watched Queen Jewels and lover of life singer of songs
And also i lit a candle at 6:48 pm last night while listening to Bohemian Rhapsody
And i also found my lost Whippet that went missing the day before so that was a good out come off the day but it was a sad day all the same
RIP FREDDIE MERCURY
I posted a video of "My Melancholy Blues" on my Facebook wall, but no one seemed to care...
Then I had rehearsal with my choir, we are preparing "Symphonic Queen" :) and last night we learnt "Save me" and "We will rock you"
