Nice! That was one of the first Websites I ever visited. That was around January 1996.
I bought Made in Heaven on December 31st, 1995 and I noticed it had a link to the Queen official Website. I did not have Internet at the time and I had to wait to go to a friend's house and log online.
I also remember saving the Website's pink background with the crest and using it as desktop Wallpaper and for "Wiley's Queen Website", which I made at the time, hehe :).
I get nostalgic looking at that site but one thing I don't miss at all is having to wait for an hour to download a Queen video clip of 30 seconds!
I totally agree Wiley. I got abit nostalgic looking at that website today, but then I remembered that this morning I downloaded 1GB in 10 mins, it would have taken a day back then.
Wow. That was cool, especially liked looking at the 'Merchandise' section. That was some pretty low-budget, crappy promotional MIH stuff they were selling.
They don't make 'em like they used to!
Brings back memories of buying the Made In Heaven CD and checking iout the web address on the back and using my Boss's PC to access it (a '486' at the time using Netscape!)
woooooowww NETSCAPE NAVEGATOR!!!!!!! I remenber that I bouth the made in heaven album, I see the link and went running to a site where has internet connection, with mac pc, jajajaja the slower connection that I seen in my life (1996) download a pic (30 kb).....5 min. jajajaja
