i love some of the websites for queen and queen related.
queen live,queen concerts .queenzone etc..
is there a free service that allows me to build a website, how do i build a website, and is it an easy process.
i dont want anything fancy, just a site to display me small collection and to add some music(unofficial) to spread the world of queen.thanks..
This is definitely not a "serious" Queen discussion, but given the fact that a lot of other threads in these section aren't as well.. I'll give the answer this time.
First you'll need to learn HTML and CSS.
These links should help you, feel free to search for tutorials elsewhere:
w3schools.com/html/default.asp
w3schools.com/css/default.asp
Good luck!

LOL - no disrespect intended towards Spandan, but I find it funny that a newbie has lectured about the seriousness of the thread and then said that he'll "give an answer this time". He only has 8 posts lol. Priceless.
It was a bit priceless.
Designing a simple website is not hard. You just need some kind of editor and access to some web space through your internet provider. You don't even need CSS knowledge at all if it's going to be the difference between feeling good about going ahead and feeling overwhelmed. Good editors means you don't even need HTML, though it helps to know the basics to tweak code.
Here are some suggestions for free editors: http://webdesign.about.com/od/windowshtmleditors/tp/free-windows-editors.htm
You can go with the full template driven models as well, but you sacrifice enough in design freedom with those, and miss an opportunity to learn something too.

I didn't say he was a moron. I just said it was funny because he only had eight posts, yet he'd answer "this time" as if he was the wise old sage of the site whom everyone turned to for advice. It was just a joke and no disrespect was intended. Gee Thomas, keep yer hair on.
In response to David's question, I remember a old program called FrontPage Express which I used to use. I had no idea about HTML or any other technical mumbo-jumbo and this guided me through everything. Don't know if it's still on the go, but perhaps worth a try?
FrontPage Express is 10 years out of date, at least, even if you could still find it. It, and it's big brother FrontPage were horrible for leaving behind globs of superfluous code in the background that bloated the files and made them port poorly to other editors. Microsoft product - go figure.
Thistleboy is right about the ease of use - what you will find out there in the current free editor world will make your work pretty easy and fun. And you can always ask here if you run into any probs. I'd recommend you look for the editors indicated for introductory use. The pro tools will just annoy with a bunch of things you don't need, and potentially make it harder to learn. You can always switch seamlessly to a more advanced package in the future if you want, as the code that is produced in behind is standard across the board.
Yeah I know its kinda funny about me saying "answering this time" but I
have gone through a lot of threads (although not replied to any) and a
lot of these kinds of threads go without any reply (not any helpful ones at
least) so I wrote that. Hope this makes any sense ;)

My suggestion:
Go to Google.com, sign up for a free Google account, click on "sites" and make a free website. It is so easy to use. link
