I have made a few more covers for this wonderful project.
Can't seem to find the original thread though.
Check out my new site for the following covers:
- 1973-09-13 Hippodrome
- 1973-11-17 Liverpool
- 1973-11-20 Oxford
- 1973-11-26 Manchester link
if the link does not work, copy and paste it in the url window.
Well, this is my very own attempt at the Liverpool '73 (Stark Remaster), tell me what you sincerely think about it, as this is my very first cover :

Hi dear Dane.
Nice artwork !
My own opinion about the covers on your website :
- I guess you should modify the title "Supporting Mott The Hoople" for the Manchester recording, as this title already exists in the bootlegs. Furthermore, as a general rule, I would say it would be better NOT giving a name to a RoIo (even if it is cooler), and only giving names to bootlegs (i.e. pressed by bootleg companies). The intent of a bootleg (i.e. a recording pressed by a bootleg company) is to be SOLD, with a profit, therefore a commercial name will help selling. But RoIo's (recordings Of Indeterminate Origin, i.e. copies from old tapes that we use to share here WITHOUT the implication of any bootleg company) are only recordings from fans to fans, who don't need money in it. Therefore, no need for a commercial thing like a name to attract potential buyers, but there is more need for some information to archive it (for example, the date and venue).
- In the same point of view, I guess including the lineage to help distinguish the different recordings in existence is a nice addition.
It is only my own opinion and nothing else that a constructive remark, of course.
Theoverall aspect of your piece of artwork is very very nice, excellent job !
Ps : I can't contact you via PM, can you contact me via email ? See below.

Here is my contribution to the cover project. I've only made some for the two new shares from Pittrek and Sir GH. Please tell me what you think of them so far. if they're ok, I'll finish then with an insert containing additional information, and the right measures.

Sorry, this doesen't seem to work. I think I need help on how to post attachments. If I don't fix it, I'ii upload them to Megaupload
Thanks all for the remarks!
Thank you for pointing out the difference between a Bootleg and a RoIo, I must change this on my site.
Besides making these covers for you guys, I also make them for myself, hence some of them will be getting a name.
The side bar of the cd's will be a uniform design to make it look nice when placed beside eachother. This is probably the only feature that will make them look like one collection.
That was some info on the way I design these. Hope it helps!
