Hey folks,
Are you ready for some classical music?
I joined a concert of Mrs. Caballé and her daughter last month. It was a pleasure to see and to hear this queen of the opera for the first time. During this concert I realized that it was 22 years ago she released an album with the late Freddie Mercury.
She is very funny as especially the German downloaders will hear. She speaks in german language between some titles. In Germany her carrier started and she worked a lot in german cities as she said. During the whole show both ladies hunted moscitos with their note papers and hands.
Althought you may not know the titles of the songs the ladies sang, I'm quite sure you actually know them all.

Thank you for this. A bit daring to share it perhaps :-)
I really admire Montserrat and was very disappointed when the recital in Montreux didn't happen. I had all tickets in my pocket then, plane, train, hotel, etc etc. But it was sadly cancelled.
Hearing these tracks I think you had to be there to fully experience her performance.
Nice to hear her chat in German. She's a lovely lady.
Funny to hear the Katzenduet, the duet of cats. This is a song I first heard I think 40 years ago, sung by two Dutch female opera singers (one of them is Cristina Deutekom, a world famous singer in her days)
Thanks for sharing.
