hehehehe, just wanted to ask how many of you have named a pet after a Queen member? I did, I had a goldfish that I called Freddie, but he sadly died yesterday (14th June 2010) sighs. I buried him at the bottom of the garden and wrote ''F'' standing for Freddie on it a stuck in about the grave. :-( |

Yep Well sort of.My sister had a pet canary called Freddie. On account of the fact that he was yellow breasted and had little black bits above his beak, looking like a moustache. Oh and he could sing as well. |

Not pets, but a few years ago a friend gave me two marijuana plants. I named them Brian & Freddie. Brian ended up a bit sickly, but I was high as a kite from Freddie for weeks! P.S Drugs are bad, stay in school kids. P.S 2 Smoke Weed Obama. |

Hi! I've had a cat named Freddie for 15 years. A great siamese cat that died last Saturday. Cheers. Juan |

Interesting post... I did have a cat I named Freddie, was a wild thing, and passed away a few years ago. Had him for 12 years. He got along with Princess. |

Not exactly...but I had a colt in for training once named Bo Rhap, and there was stallion cruising the circuit named Under Pressure. Probably a few horses out there sporting Queenish names. |

don't think that it's a good idea to give your pets their names |

Nope............never named a pet 'penis' or 'c*ck' or............. oh, uhm, your not talking 'member'. My mistake. yes, two dogs were named Freddie. One lived two years, the other faithful Freddie died in 2007 at the age of 16. Current companion is named for Denny Crane. There will never be another Fred in this household. Too much to live up to. Friends have named dogs 'Spike' (for Edney), Josh, Brighton, Sammy, Dragon, and there have been cats called Tiger, Lily, Tiger Lily, Delilah, and Bijou. I don't think Brian or John or Roger lend themselves that well as pet names. |

I have a cat i named "Lilly" after the song Lilly of the Valley. We bought one cat, got another free. I tried naming the other one delilah, but instead the parentals chose Callamazoo. Well we're adopting another Cat this summer. I'm planning on giving this one a definite reference name to something Queen related. Anyone out there have any interesting cat names, that have something to do with Queen or Freddie or Roger. |

how about.......... Freddie Brian Roger John Dillilah Sammy (from ''spread your wings'') Mercury May Taylor Deacon Farrokh (if you want?) LOL XD Harold (Brian's middle name) Meddows (Roger's middle name) Richard (John's middle name) Rbfj (pronounsed ''robufj''it's the band members first anitials to their names all put together) XD LOL |
| Kacoblin 16.06.2010 08:08 |
''robufj'' my dear, is simply epic! I always was very fond of Freddie's cat names. I think two of them were Oscar, and Goliath. I loved the name Kashmira{Freddie's sister}. See i don't feel ashamed to let my obsession shine out bright. Not when i'm in the Good company of peoples like you. |

We had a Delilah - named after the cat/song in the Summer of 1991. Even if I knew then what I know now we'd've still call her that. We now have a Hermes. (Geddit?) :-) Delilah was, and Hermes is, a blue burmese. Hermes is incredibly affectionate and the breeder joked she thought he was gay, from his behaviour. Reincarnation anyone? :-) |

I like the name Moet (from killer queen) the best. It would sound good for a cat. Sammy (from spread your wings) might sound good for a dog |
| sueyside 16.06.2010 13:32 |
I had a cat named Miko named after one of Freddie's cats. |
| theinnuendo2004 16.06.2010 20:45 |
I had a cat called John, and a bunny called Highlander |
| BradJarre 17.06.2010 06:24 |
I once had 5 little puppy's, and i called them: Freddie Brian Roger John Spike(yes i know, not an official member, but he was on tour 1984 onwards) |
