Brian Has recently told "Jason Harold" of BBC Radio Bristol in an interview that he will be appearing alongside "Kerry Ellis" at the Royal Albert Hall, this Sunday coming 2nd May for the Event "A Night of a 1000 voices" he said that they will be doing a Queen Set. Also he went onto say that Both "He & Roger" will be performing at the "We Will Rock You" 8th Aniversary performance on the 10th of May at the Dominion. Also on the 11th May, Taylor Hawkins will be Playing a gig in London, who knows maybe Brian & Roger will guest ;-) ??????
Did anyone go to WWRY last night?
How long were Brian and Roger on stage for? Just Bo Rhap at the end?
Would have love to have gone! It's a fantastic show
Yes, I was there, Brian came up from the trap door during the Bo Rhap guitar solo, as normal & then left the stage for the operatic section & then came back on for the rock section, just as Roger & his new "RT" skinned kit came up through the floor.
Brian & Roger only performed on "Bo Rhap" & then did a brief speech.
Great night, but I wished it could have been more, could be, that they were saving themselves for tonight, Maybe if they turn up ;-)
Here's a clip from youtube:- link
I was there!
It was incredible... Everyone (I guess) thought the show was over, and suddenly THEY came up on stage... :)
It's the only time I've seen the musical, so I couldn't belive it...

Here's something that I couldn't believe:- 10th may Brian & Roger played on half of Bohemian Rhapsody. The next night on the 11th May, at the Taylor Hawkins gig they did:- Im in Love with My Car, Long away, Sleeping on the side walk, Tenement Funster + 2 more.
Feel a bit short changed that we at the dominion got the short end of the stick, what a bummer that I didn't go to the Coattail Riders gig :-( Brian & Roger must love the Taylor Hawkins fans, more than their loyal QUEEN Fans.
yeah, thanks for the vid, must have been a great atmosphere...
Wonder if the playing at Taylor Hawkins gig and WWRY might whet their appetite for a tour of some kind next year!!!???
would be nice....
Well, here you have something about it. Brian says on Brianmay.com:
"It was a great fun night. [Tue 11 May 2010] Roger and I had a blast. La Scala pulsed to something amazing .. the great new Taylor Hawkins band - the COAT TAIL RIDERS, and some pals who dropped in to lend a hand. It was all very spontaneous, like the Old Days, really, and .... yes, it was NOT my idea for me to sing two songs in the encore section! I'd rather have hammered out TYMD with Taylor singing. But Taylor is committed to his idea of .... ah, well, I can't tell you yet ... but he has a plan for us! Respects to the amazing young Rufus Taylor too ... he's the only drummer who has EVER made me worry about my ears ... except Chad Smith!!!!!
Thanks for a great reception. Maybe we should do this kind of thing more often ! (maybe not! ha ha.)"

Hmmm!!! Interesting statement from Brian. I wonder if the 2 Taylors tour/gigs in the autum might progress into another QUEEN+ venture?? QUEEN+ Taylor Hawkins???? just a thought!!!!
