I just watched the freakiest doc on a journalist's trip to North Korea. You get the sense that the guy expected to tell a particular story and ultimately did so, but the sheer strangeness of that society creeps out from the edges even beyond that. Early in the film he describes a visit to the DMZ from the South Korean side. I spent a few days in Seoul in 2005 and visited there as well, and the atmosphere is exactly as he describes.
