Awhile back, I posted a thread called "Queen's Live Bloopers." Now, I made a VIDEO version of it!
[listo] [li]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZULbqmaTBUs[/listo]What do you think?
lmao, I love these. There's also the one where Freddy messes up a medley and ends with, "I don't know the words, I just make 'em up." I think it’s from 1984 sometime.
Duly rated (5 stars, of course!) and favourited. Currently laughing out loud at the Radio Gaga made up 'lyrics'. Absolutely loved it Greg, thanks so much!

Thanks! I wonder what would happen if Queen stumbled on that video...
I'm guessing it would be featured on Brian's Soapbox with an energic rant by Brian asking how would you feel if someone put together all the mistakes you've made in your life and paraded them in front of everybody followed by something dramatic like "how do you sleep at night???!".
Then, you would go into his blacklist, which by then would look something like this:
[listu]
[li]Reporters that call him "perm poodled" or don't "get" the We Will Rock You musical
[li]British politicians
[li]Fox hunters
[li]...
[li]That chubby kid who yawned during his guitar solo in Truro '71
[li]Japanese Whale fishermen
[li]...
[li]The guy who screwed up and caused Brian to fall into the "trap" during a Q+PR show
[li]Queen "fans" that didn't buy BANG!

Very funny and entertaining - thanks for putting it together.
What I found most amazing is the strange solo on BoRap from Caracas.
It looks like he had lost the second string. Losing any string is a desaster on that guitar as it makes the remaining strings usually go completely out of tune, which he somehow managed to avoid in this case. So what looks like "he forgot how to play his solo" may have been an enormous act of rescuing a very tricky situation.
Does the video show that he used a different guitar after the opera section?
He's still on the old lady for the second half of the song. So I guess it was just a brain-fart. It happens to the best of us.
But there have been occasions where Brian broke a string and managed to keep going. People who aren't guitarists simply cannot appreciate how much work it is to play a guitar with 5 strings and floating tremolo in tune.
