link According to this youtube vid there is a 24 track master of I Want It All out there. The sound quality is poor, like someone has held a mic to a speaker but its great news for us waiting for the next one to appear. You will also see from the links on the right of the page that there may be some other stuff doing the rounds too, as in completely solitary vocal tracks. I have messages the user for more info but nothing yet. |

link I'm afraid it's just a fake acapella version. Advertising it as a 24 channel multitrack merely attracts more viewers. |

I think I hear at the end some vocals which I don't remember from the album version (but it's true that I haven't listened to the 80's albums for a while) |

Here is 24 channel multitrack, but I'm not sure http://www.mediafire.com/?jnuwt2z0mnx |

mooghead 28.12.2009 10:59 |
There is no programme available that can remove tracks from mixed cd's completely. Your 2nd guess was right though, its a game rip, check out the file called Queen I Want It All stripped from here: link Its amazing what you can find with a bit of digging. |
john bodega 28.12.2009 14:24 |
When the Queen DLC came out for Rock Band the first thing I did was take "I Want It All" into practice mode and let the song roll without playing any notes on my controller. Sounded pretty cool! |
A Word In Your Ear 28.12.2009 15:25 |
The track is labled as (GH-V 360) could it be just one channel from the 5.1 surround sound from GVH2? Think I'll download it & have a listen. |
Daniel vZ 28.12.2009 18:13 |
Downloaded, it's 18-tracks in Audacity, but 2 tracks is the fake audience singing along. Awesome to hear the song this way! Some weird vocals at the end though. |
vicspec 29.12.2009 01:48 |
I just opened this file which apperaed as .ogg into Adobe Audition with 10 layers of stereo separation. Very cool. What else is available in this format? Wow. |

Tons of stuff |

I Want It All is very cool to play about with. Never noticed the edit in Brian's solo!! |

Be very careful folks. This board got into a whole lot of bother over something similar that happened a few years ago. When we had Bohemian Rhapsody multitracks flying around. |

"A few years"? I think your sense of time is a bit skewiff. |

Very interesting this IWIA track stuff. I loaded it up and there are some interesting bits and pieces to be heard. What is this from? And are all the parts contained inside it all original "Queen made" parts of the song. My brother seemed a little baffled at the sound of the drums. I didn't really pay any attention, I was simply going, "ooh" and "ahhh" to realise anything! And because I'm currently moving my audio PC and equipment around, I'm a bit stuck to really have a proper listen. Kinda stuck! Adam. |
john bodega 07.01.2010 21:48 |
Yeah the drums were a bit crazy. Didn't sound right until they were all together in context. |

Actually it's Guitar Hero Van Halen, but thats just me being pedantic. The last two tracks aren't Queen's backing vocals, they are just crowd sound effects included in the game. |

Really? the basterds.. adding unrelated tracks! It did sound like some crappy 80s effect though. thanks for the info anyway! |
GinjaNinja 19.05.2010 11:18 |
Well, it is a video game! I don't think they intended for people to rip the tracks from it. :p |

There are a couple of songs available as .ogg; - Another One Bites The Dust - Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Fat Bottomed Girls - I Want It All - I Want To Break Free - Killer Queen - One Vision - Somebody To Love - Tie Your Mother Down - Under Pressure - Tenement Funster! - BoRhap - Stone Cold Crazy - WATC - WWRY All taken from RockBand or Guitar Hero.. All the songs released with SingStar are Karaoke versions only, i presume and I didnt include them here... Maybe they have an isolated vocal track which could be interesting. anyone have these? :) |
GinjaNinja 03.04.2011 06:07 |
Due to the .oggs being leaked online, the video game makers brought in a stronger method of encryption. It's unlikely that it will be cracked. :( |
brians wig 03.04.2011 19:25 |
That's a real shame. I take it the game boxes (wii etc) don't have 6 channel outputs that could be wired up to do analogue capture? |
john bodega 03.04.2011 23:14 |
"It's unlikely that it will be cracked" They cracked the Beatles stuff somehow, so anything's possible! |

I'm sure you can get surround sound output which would give better separation but not full separation unfortunately. @Zebonka People will always get around problems if it's to do with The Beatles I guess :P Who knows eh? |

Has anyone managed to get Tenement Funster yet....that is available to 'borrow'? |
