Hi All (sorry fo this sort of topic has been posted before)
I saw the We Will Rock You musical at Bristol hippodrome last Night!!!!! I thought it was EPICLY AMAZING!!! & now I want ot see it again it was that good! but in London :) The cast had brilliant voices and were so great!!! The story is well thought out I loved it
Has anyone else seen it? If So what does eveyone think of it?
I saw it in Toronto, and for some reason it was difficult for me to hear songs I love so much interpreted in that way. It's not that I'm a hard line purist - I recognize that it's impossible for Queen to be who and what it was 30 years ago. Still, I didn't leave feeling entertained, I left feeling kind of sad and wistful and disappointed for whatever reason. My son absolutely loved it though. It's brought a great deal of enjoyment to thousands and thousands, and I'm glad you're one of them. :)
I saw it in London back in January and I loved it. I found it amusing and very entertaining. I also enjoyed the interpritation of the songs and how they were tweaked to fit in with the somewhat bizzare storyline. I prefared it to Mama Mia which has also done pretty darn well for itself. I will go again when it comes to Edinburgh at the end of the year. My 5 year old son is desperate to go as he loves queen. I figure I'd better take him as he wasn't impressed that I went to 2 cosmos rocks gigs without him lol!
