As promised here is a recording of the BBC Rock Hour radio show from 4th March 1984, containing parts of the 1975 Hammersmith show. This has been recorded directly from the transcription vinyl by me. I am kind of new to this, but I guess that would make the lineage: AUD>Master>Vinyl>WAV>Flac Level 8. (Please correct me if I am wrong). 1 Intro 2 Now I'm Here 3 Ogre Battle 4 White Queen 5 Ad Break 1 6 Medley 7 Bring Back That Leroy Brown 8 Keep Yourself Alive 9 Ad Break 2 10 Brighton Rock 11 Son and Daughter 12 Ad Break 3 13 Liar 14 In The Lap Of the Gods...Revisted 15 Close link link link EDIT: I know it's some time since I shared this, but here are the cue sheets for this broadcast http://rapidshare.com/files/352022738/Cue_Sheets.rar |

Thanks a lot for sharing this! I look forward to listening to it :) |

Your lineage is wrong. It's not an audience recording so it should be BBC broadcast>vinyl>wav>flac. If I'm wrong feel free to correct ;) anyway, thanks for sharing :) |

thanks for sharing this one :) by the way, this is 16 bits / 96 KHz you're gonna have to convert to 44 KHz for proper CD burning |

Thanks for the recording Jam Monkey. It can be very time consuming to transfer old vinyl, hope you enjoyed it as much as I do. |

The ads are even still there, so it's certainly not a recording of what was put over the airwaves. And if the sound is pristine, that only favours that suggestion, as there wouldn't be any FM interference heard on the recording. 2) We don't know if the recording was processed in any way or if it was transferred to some other medium before being pressed onto vinyl. So I'd say it's this: Soundboard master > ? > BBC transcription disc > 16-bit 96 kHz WAV > FLAC |
