Hi! Got got a question im hoping someone could answer. Today I was in Wallingford CT at an awesome shop called Red Scroll Records. They sell mostly 90% metal albums but i checked their small classic rock section and was SHOCKED to find a UK Parlophone copy of Innuendo on vinyl in mint condition with NO ring wear or damage of any kind. I was wondering how rare it is to find a copy in this good condition in a record shop for $20? (The price I payed). If anyone could answer this question it would be great. Thanks.
Was it the re-release? If you got a copy from '91, it's definitely worth more than $20. If it's the one from this year, you paid what it's worth. '91 catalog #: PCSD 115, '09 catalog #: QUEENLP14
Nope! Its definitely an original. I was shocked to find it as ive never even seen a US vinyl copy. Also got The Miracle on vinyl in mint condition as well at the same place for $5. I have 3 serial no. White Albums and many a rare album but never a UK Queen album. I find things everywhere because I always go on road trips w/ my dad. Definitely worth the 15 weeks of free lawn cuttin I shall be owing him after this venture (his company car gets free gas).
I know! Tell me about it. Our family moved from CT to FL in 1988 where there is shit! (I live in Panama City) There are literally no fucking music or record shops for a town so tourist-oriented! So every year my pops and I drive back to CT for a bit and we stop at all kind of record shops etc. In one year I have managed to obtain close to 120 LPs simoly from our conquests. If youre near Cleveland Ohio, GO TO Blue Arrow Records. The owner took all old album covers, seperated the fronts from the back and layed them out as his floor. It is so badass. Butwhat is really great are his prices. I got 27 45s and over 30 LPs from him for 50 bucks! (Finally obtaining that elusive copy of Sticky Fingers w/ the zipper). Oh well. Sorry for rambling on. Get me talking about musi and youll be sorry you did! ^_^
There's only a couple of local music stores here that sell old vinyl. There's almost always some beat up Queen LPs but nothing collectable. Buying vinyl from ebay is nice, but making a find in person is a lot more fun. ;-)
Yeah. I dont like buying form eBay much unless i really have to. Im so thankful for these record shopping sprees i go on. W/o the traveling, there is no way in hell that I coul have gotten the 3 serial number white albums as cheaply as I did. I actually got the first in Panama City at a record store with some decently rare LPs, the second for $1 from a 90 year old man at a car show in CT and the third in Ohio last week at Blue Arrow. Im pissed because toady at Red Scroll, they had a red vinyl copy of Love Gun by Kiss which I am now killing myself for not getting! Damn! Only $9!

That's very much true!
I still prefer record fairs altough ebay is nice too.
I found a fresh pressing of Innuendo (together with other Queen-albums) in a big mediamarket in Basel. So vinyl comes definitly back.
Does anybody know about a gatefold release of this album?
