Well, Be Legends, Release PLENTY OF STUDIO ALBUMS, Good quality Albums with Great Music, Carrying on the essence of their career of the 70s and 80s though turning towards a 90s route with no.1 singles and good commercial sucess and significant releases musically. Queen would have aimed to be the best band of the 90s and Best Selling Band of the 90s showing Oasis and Take That who's Boss and most of all, Play brilliant tours and Have a Legendary Decade and sell Millions.
my immdiate reaction is this.......The Miracle would have had a much different feel and almost all of the Innuendo songs wouldn't have been written since many were written with impending death on their minds (obviously Made In Heaven wouldn't have happened)....so in that case.....they might have continued taking their sweet time making albums...side projects would have taken over a lot of time.....and they would have continued writing and recording in isolation....often just putting their parts on someone else'ss song.....and hoping it came out fine in the mix......I think some song ideas at least musically would have stayed....ie You Don't Fool Me....probably would have 2-3 rockers per album....songs would have started getting more reflective...and perhaps mellower....
having said all that if Freddie lived after knowing he had AIDS....I think it would have been the kick they needed to doing a lot of great work such as we got with Innuendo and some of the Miracle tracks.....tours, lots of great music, unfortunately it was not to be.....
