Well I think that Saturdays concert was the last one in the uk and this tour is the last one, maybe the odd show/ guest appearance, does anyone else share this thought. Hey it was great though[img=/images/smiley/msn/cry_smile.gif][/img] |

No, I am pretty confident they will do more. I would say there will be a farewell tour at somepoint, everyone else is doing it and I can't see QP missing out on that opportunity, plus I would be pretty confident that they will do more with Paul in a couple of years |

I don't think the QPR project has run its course jus yet. The album did ok and as usual the tour was a success. I'd be surprised if they don't try their hand at another album in the next year or so and if that happens I would imagine there will be a tour to follow. I could well imagine another release maybe some time late 2010 or early 2011 followed by a tour of some description. After that they'll be well into their 60s and probably time to draw down the curtain. |

It was a great show too - very enjoyable. |

I'm pretty sure this was the last European tour. We'll get some guest appearances maybe and that's it. |

Can't be the final tour... they are playing and enjoying inselfs like never in their lifes... and I would say that even more that in some"Queen" eras... I can see a new album soon... maybe they'll use the gap because of the US tour to get in the studio. Thumbs up for another album/tour! |

Ohh come on... last time...I don't think it was the last time...I'm pretty sure if they do their last concert they will do it in Europe in England but I'm sure they will tell us before...they can't just stop..at this point..now...and say goodbye...or maybe they can:)... but I'm pretty sure thay won't do it:). Thay really gave us great concerts and they look like they love being on stage and playing together. Thay will take a break after South America tour I think and do some tour in USA in 2009 ( I think in the second part of the year...Brian said that in the interview..),...and then I thing another break...and next studio album?? It's very possible I think. But nobody knows...So don't cry...this time will come one day but now..we should be happy that thay are still touring and having such a wonderful time...It's great. Only thing we can wish them is health...hope they will stay in such a good shape as long as possible... |

I somehow doubt that will call it a day without some kind of annoucement. so unless they suddenly release a statement prior to the south american dates, my guess is there will be more however; I don't think they'll do extensive touring anymore. I think they'll do some UK dates, and perhaps some german/dutch/italian ones. seeing as how they have stated they are not interested in becoming a golden oldies act, we're either gonna get A: a new album and some live work B: one last series of gigs though it's hard to admit, I can't see them doing this well into their 60s. so my biggest hope for one last hurrah is a series of smaller gigs in theater type venues, where they dig out seldom / rarely played gems from both Queen and PR's history. that would be SUCH a treat for the fans. mixed with some arena dates with the more hit oriented setlists, they'll leave us with the best farwell ever :) well, here's hoping.... |

i reckon if they do a farewell tour, they would do another arena tour of the UK but finish with a big bang at say Wembley? im sure they would sell it out if they announced it was their final concert, what better place to have your final concert than a place with so many memories...Live Aid, Wembley '86! if they announced it i would definatly be buying tickets no matter the cost! and im pretty sure if they announced it John Deacon would make a guest appearance for a couple songs like Another One Bites The Dust, Under Pressure etc. So he can retire gracefully with his band mates, retire with Queen! |

If they continue, great! If they quit, too bad, BUT... maybe they will finally get their asses into the archive and release some 70s concerts or any other kind of unheard/unseen stuff. |

There's no evidence as to the fact that this might be the last tour. I do hope it's not the last. The fact they are enjoying themselves is however a good indication that it's more likely they don't stop now (and, yeah, indeed they look like they are enjoying it more now than in the old days.. I guess there was so much pressure on them by then to live up to all the expectations). I think all this talk about this tour being the last, the alleged lack of communication on stage and so on is just wishful thinking on the part of those who hate the Queen+PR project. And it's a very ugly thing to desire. First, it's not nice to desire somebody's failure just because you don't like their projects. And second, it's kinda rude to the people who like Queen + PR and want to see them again in the future. If you don't wanna hear it... well, stay at home and don't listen to it, but concede at least to the rest of us the right to enjoy what's going on... Really now. I remember that by the end of 2006, after the US Tour, some so-called Queen fans from my country (who were very well aware of the fact that I loved the Queen + PR project and bitterly regretted that I wasn't able to go to one in a nearby country) laughed in my face telling me that rumour had it that Paul had fallen out with Bri and Rog and that this was the end of the Q+PR story. Well, history did prove them wrong (and I managed to go to Budapest to attend a concert), but it was a very nasty thing to do and was the thing that disgusted me of many of my fellow Queen fans countrymen. That's when I finally quit the idea to build a Queen Fan Club in my country. It was but one of many disappointing things that happened in the Romanian Queen fans' community, but it was the last straw for me... So I gues it'd be a good idea to think about the impact our words might have on other people. That goes for all of us, the ones who love Queen + PR, the ones who hate it and the ones who are pretty neutral on the subject. It seems that we don't care a lot about the consequences of what we say. And I believe it's pretty sad, what with all the insults and bad words hurled around on this forum and other Queen fan forums... |
