Another brilliant show. Best crowd of the UK shows (though not quite the stormer that was Madrid!)
The guys really seemed to love the show, great atmosphere and lots of jokes and ad-libs.
Voodoo a highlight - worked really well. Sung before Bad Company.
Other bits of note:
Fog on the Tyne (both acoustic and in the solo)
Lots of Brian ad libs in '39 (milky way etc)
Best A Kind Of Magic (ever?) - Brian went mad and played a storm
Spike playing bird sounds at the end of Surf's Up (hadn't heard these before)
Got really near the front thanks to drunk Geordies getting lifted out!
Stood next to the Kurgan - you'll see him on youtube!
Great night - the shows really are getting better - loving it!
all i can say is this was the best gig and the best night of my life. Queen are fuckin awesome!!!!! I went with my best friend, who is mainly in to Punk, and she was crying when Freddie appeared on the screen for Bohemian Rhapsody. It was just awesome. Only bad thing about tonight is the old bitch behind us kept telling us to sit down!!! Bitch!!!!!! lol

Yeap
If you want to fully enjoy the show you had to buy the parzuet tickets. I was at both Rome and Firenze shows in 2005 with numerated tickets and I promised myself I wouldn't never do it again...
This year in Rome the experiences was greeat !! (down the catwalk)
immense concert, great laugh with the guys, was a shame to see 2 drunken twats get lifted out and to see another guy come down ill and have to leave after bo rhap, felt sorry for him, mind you a particular laugh was the japanese guy who came full dressed as freddie merc, moustache aswell, quite a laugh, my second ever Q+PR concert, first in 2005, loved it =D

I think that guy sat in front of me & my best mate. He didnt look well at all. Poor dude
sat? we were standing at the front of the catwalk, the guy was you could say second row, i felt really sorry for him cos he looked so excited to see them, but he almost fainted cos of the heat before bo rhap, he managed to hear it out but just as bo rhap finished he had to leave, a could of cried for him =(
Hey all, I've been on here for quite a few years under different names (original MrBadGuy), so not a newbie or anything!! I was there last night, and it was amazing, a really great night. Here is the review from the local rag:-
Not too shabby eh?? We went to Liverpool as well but this was better.
QPRTOON - Where were you standing, me and the missus were just to the right of the 'B' stage, slightly on the catwalk. I got the Chinese (Japanese??) Freddie to pose and took his photo.
No-one can say this wasn't a true Queen gig, the music, the atmosphere, the anticipation, was all the same as the gigs I saw in Birmingham 84, St James in 86 and then Knebworth. Was also great to see loads of teenagers and younger fans. The 2 lads next to me were both 16 and it was their first concerts. I asked them what they thought at the end and one of them was litterally speechless.
were you by any chance next a woman on the right of you, small, white shirt, glasses, with 2 lads standing behind her, i was wearin the new tour t-shirt, my mate wore a blue smartish shirt, i contanstly had my fone in the air taking pictures, i also wore glasses lol
Nah, I think I was slightly further down the catwalk, did you see the two lads with the long hair headbanging like mad? I was next to them towards the B stage. If you were looking straight at the catwalk, I was at the bottom right hand corner. Wicked spot for Rogers drum solo. I took loadsa photos too, and taped Voodoo and some other stuff.
Hope they make Voodoo one of the songs available to buy as I'm getting a bit sick of looking at 2 versions of WWRY etc. Was hoping to put together a 'TCR live' cd but unless they pull the finger out that's not going to happen. And it's a pity Paul messed up Time to Shine when it was played because they haven't played it again and they're unlikely to make that one version available with such an obvious timing error.
yeh i saw them headbanging, i was in hysterics, i was tempted to join in even with my short hair :P
i got some awesome pics of the gang on the front of the catwalk, loved it, got a few mp3s from youtube, i will upload them when im off nightshift, and we can have a proper talk about that gig!
