is there any chance of meeting the band after the show?
I'm going to London and Cardiff, and based on you experiences - what are the chances of getting a photo/signature if you hang around after the concert?
When I went to Vegas a couple years ago to see the boys play after the WWRY musical premiere, I met (and many other fans also met) Brian and Roger the night before, as I stayed in the same hotel. Meeting the boys would have been impossible had it not been for the family of Queen fanatics also staying at the Paris Las Vegas. It seems someone was keen on Brian or Roger's every move, and we used such information to place ourselves in their proximity.
My suggestion to you would be to get to the concert entirely too early, as you will find that mostly only die-hard fans are going to do the same. Network with as many of them as you can, as someone will inevitably know what the post-concert plans are for QPR. Roadies will more than likely offer you no assistance, as they are paid to deter fans from intruding on the band's space. Getting backstage is usually not an option, for this same reason. Again, network with the fans. Someone may very well know where the guys are residing for the night, if they are staying over in your town. If that is the case, simply exit the concert as quickly as you can and linger in the hotel lobby. This has worked for quite a number of us!
I managed to greet them at the Ciampinio airport from a distance, while I had a close encounter inside the Milan airport, the guys were kind and great as usual! It was nice to meet Paul for the first time
from the 2005 tour from what i heard, after the concert if you go straight round the back and wait for a long time, like hours i mean, you can meet the guys there. i saw them leaving in there own cars after the newcastle show even though they arrived in a helicopter. typical queen entrance!!!
