Hello everybody. This is my first post. Well, a first look at the Singles Box Set coming in novembre (oooooooohhhhhhh what a delight) has told me I will never see officially releases of Liar single edit, Teo Torriatte Stand Alone Version ad It's late..... Could you post them (again)? Above all Liar (which I know is the worst Queen release ever, but..... you know, I'd like... ehm.... ok.... :) Thanx you all. Michele |
dobo 27.09.2008 15:23 |
ebay? |
TimBHM 27.09.2008 16:59 |
More importantly... where have you seen the details of the boxset? I've not seen any official posts yet? Never mind, just found it - WTF is the point of this boxset - where are the B-sides and rarities? WTF would anybody be stupid enough to buy this? |
Penetration_Guru 27.09.2008 20:10 |
I can sell you a 7" vinyl record of the Liar edit. |

Listen to any Works Tour show, and pay special attention to how painful the cuts in the medley version of Liar are. The single version is worse. |

Penetration_Guru 28.09.2008 07:37 |
£10 inc UK postage |

Really? Hmm... I may take you up on this offer. I've always wanted this single! Lol. I'm not sure if I'll buy it yet, but if I did, could you post it on eBay? |
Pim Derks 28.09.2008 11:31 |
I doubt P_G is offering the Liar 7" single, I think he's talking about the Spun Gold AOBTD reissue. |
MusicManDeaconJohn 28.09.2008 14:07 |
well i meant audio files.... it is not necessary the single itself.... anyway i could be interested in it.... |
Penetration_Guru 28.09.2008 15:04 |
Sorry, yes it's the Spun Gold version, although AOBTD has nothing to do with it as far as I can tell. How would putting it on ebay help? you might get outbid? |
Penetration_Guru 28.09.2008 15:05 |
Without the single, how would the precious file exist? |
Pim Derks 28.09.2008 15:08 |
Was it the b-side of Spun Gold's Killer Queen reissue then? |
tjbarrett96 28.09.2008 15:18 |
No, I just prefer to do business through eBay. Post it as a 'Buy It Now' only, and there will be no bidding involved - put in a set price, and whoever buys it will pay that set price. No bidding at all! But nevermind, I prefer to have the original single, not the spun gold. |
Penetration_Guru 28.09.2008 17:58 |
Yes, think so |

I'd like someone posted the audio files of: Liar single edit Teo Torriatte Stand Alone Version It's Late single edit on rapidshare or mediafire as they usually do to post Queen stuff on Queenzone. It's obviuos that the source would be the singles (if they exist) but I don't want the physical single, only the Audio File (someone in an another topic has already posted Liar single edit, but it as expired and it isn't possible to download it anymore). |

Come on, we DO UNDERSTAND YO, but PG tries to tell you that officially released products are no longer allowed on Queenzone and if you want the audio from the single, you should buy the single. If I had an LP player, I would buy it immediatelly. It's a SHAME SHAME SHAME that the new boxset will NOT include all single edits :( |

Yeah, it's a shame alright, but that's to be expected of QPL. And it's also a shame we're once again expected to pay through the nose for such rarities. |

If everyone wanted just the file, nobody would need the single, but then where would you get the file from? |

I bet you've paid more than that for a Pokemon card... I wasn't referring to the Spun Gold issue. I was referring to the original US edition indirectly. Once again, you fail to read between the lines. Re: Pokemon cards: I never have spent more than 10 quid on a card, sorry to disappoint you. However, 5 years ago I DID pay around 75 quid / ~$150 CDN for the 'Golden Boy' CD-Video disc (eBay). That's the most I can recall spending on a single Queen(-related) item to date. If that doesn't qualify as paying through the nose, then what does? And recently, I HAVE been importing some other Queen and Queen-related records and CD's from Japan, at a rate faster these days than I have achieved in several years, along with other items I've been waiting a long time to acquire for other parts of different collections I'm trying to complete, so don't you fucking dare accuse me of being solely a leech. Right now, money IS an issue at times for me, when it concerns trying to acquire some rare items AND trying to keep my financial situation in order at the same time. However, it really helps that the service I use has a hell of a lot of the items cheaper through there than on eBay, in most cases. (One slight exception was the WWRY HR 1991 remixes promo 12", which I'm very sure came to around $50-ish US.....but I think that falls within its current collector's market value?) |

(liar, teo torriatte, it's late), but I know the philosophy of this box set is "only the singles that reached at least no. 10", or something similar. Do you think it's not possible to extract liar from the single (and teo torriatte) and put it on emule, for example????? On emule I found It's late single, I'm love with my car, the japanese version of funny how love is, tenement funster, lily of the valley, flick of the wrist etc.... |
