apart from all right now an seagull, why is bad company the only song being played? what happend to wishing well, shooting star, feel like, cant get enough from the last tour? whats happening? any one else slightly anoyed at this??
Yes- I am a bit annoyed with this-I guess the audiences in europe don't appreciate is work from Free,BC, the Firm and solo. Very sad. QPR do a nice Wishing Well--one of my favorites. I would trade paul's songs though for more songs from TCR.
I wish Queen could follow his example and ditch the hits, or at least the overplayed ones. I question why One Vision and Shooting Star were ditched after being the only two additions of hits being added.
I think Rock N' Roll Fantasy should be added if they want a fresh hit with good live sound.
I just wish the new album tracks played weren't 4 of the bottom 5 tracks on the album and Say It's Not True. I want to hear Time To Shine, Through The Night, Call Me and Still Burnin at some point.
Isn't that what the Queen fans over here wanted?
The same Queen songs that were played before and a couple of new tracks instead of the Paul Rodgers songs?
I've slowly noticed his songs disapearing. I would love to hear 'Fire & Water' like they played in Japan. It is difficult to get a mix of Queen Classics, Paul Rodgers Classics and New Queen songs, without upsetting some contingent.
I don't think Paul is overly bothered about his songs being dropped. Remember when this project started Brian had suggested they do 50% Queen material and 50% Paul material but Paul said no that it was primarily a Queen audience and should therefore play mostly Queen and he was touring for his fans around the same time anyway. I think this still rings true today, I'd say it is primarily a Queen audience and Paul is big enough to accept that and also knows he has his solo tours etc to satisfy his fan base who don't all necessarily want to hear Queen songs(I know they must all be mad) Given that 4 or 5 new songs have to be played I think dropping too many Queen tracks would not play well with the more casual fan. Well in my opinion anyway. I enjoy Pauls stuff but I go to the show for the Queen material
