Overall a very good song IMO. Great album opener, and I can't wait till I hear it live.
Hearing C-lebrity for the first time (on Al Murray) made me a little worried about the album but I like what I heard so far. Also the studio version of C is much MUCH better than the *early* live version..
Nice bit of good old rock n roll, nothing wrong with that is there? Not classic queen obviously but still better than most of whats out there in todays market. Roll on next Monday!!
Apologies really just joking - everyone's permitted their opinion and and should be respected.

Good!
Sincere LOL then :-)
Everyone in here knows that I've been a huge supporter of QPR ever since their very first performance together.
(Though not hesitant to critisize them also when they fuck up or when I personally don't like a song or performance ;-)
Though there is some decent stuff on the new album, this particular song I do NOT like at all.
Never a Status Quo fan and the lyricks are just too cheesy for me to turn a blind eye.

Really sorry to say this but I have a soft spot for Quo so the Album title track does tick my box :-) I would however say that the track is much more a 2008 Queen track than a Quo one. It's just yet one more example of a wide and varied range of songs coming our way. So far we've had comparisons to Quo, U2, country, blues, anti-war songs, hard rock and even a little religion for good measure - sounds to me like a typical Queen type of sound all in all. Still wondering when Brian will do a rap number and Roger takes up Jazz but never say never!
Personally finding all of the build up and new material really exciting stuff and the variety of material highly interesting. I'd still agree however that Cosmos Rocks would make a no brainer concert opener and more important remember it's only entertainment and is ment not to be taken too seriously. Sounds like a lot of fun coming our way.
Pleased to see some people still have an open mind. Haven't read 'but it's not Freddie' for at least a week (is Treasure Moment on holiday?) so things must be on the up. And don't get me wrong that's no disrespect intended - I really hope they do the version of Bohemian Rhapsody the same way as the last tour; paying respect for the past but still acknowledging that things move on all at the same time.
