what do you think of queen and paul rodgers going to play gig(s) in china 2009.
the new stadium in peking.
i hpoe so and these country?s.
japan,australia,holland,argentina,brazil,uk
in the uk the new wembley stadium.
Heh. I doubt they will play China, but would be interesting to see if they do ever play there.
Also, I really doubt they will play the new Wembley Stadium. Roger especially doesn't like it, and I'm sure he can speak from first-hand experience, as he did play there during Live Earth last year, for the bombastic drum opening there.

Could they even fill Wembley these days? They were really only a stadium rock band for a short period of time in the 1980s. On the upcoming British leg of the tour they are playing in arenas that hold between 7-12 thousand (and they haven't yet sold out even the arenas that hold the lowest attendances).

If the album is good, and get good reviews, the tickets will disappear within days.
P.
With the right promotion and drive I'm sure they could do it. Would the Chinese authorities be happy with QPR and let them play? I could be totally wrong but I'm not 100% that they'd let them do such an event. (China I mean not Wembley - obviously)
the tickets dont seem to be selling nearly as fast as they did in 2005, 2005 every gig in europe pretty much sold out in first day of tickets going on sale, now there are loads left for lots of places!
if an stadium in china is not possible i?m happy with an arena too.
or an building with small attendence for people.
yes,and first off all they must have aproval from
the chinese goverment.
that?s a doubt.
i think it would be great first they never bin their and second see something new.
in their set list they could play 2 chinese songs.
and 2 queen songs in chinese style.
that would be nice to hear.
instead of god save the queen england?s national anthem they could play the cd of china?s anthem.
i don?t know if queen a known band in china or even popular.
i only thought if china because they?ve never been there and yet another new country for them
to try and play.
that?s really it!!!!!!!
greetings
(are their little venues in peking and bejing?)
But what if their politburo decides Paul Rodgers doesn't look good enough, and they put someone else better looking but with less vocal talent on stage to mime to his vocals? ;-)
