hi, i've only just started collecting Queen roio's, and so far the only ones i've been able to grab are a couple from dime and about 20 from here, i see there is a hub but apparently its down, other than that i've got no idea where else to go. any suggestions?
The hub is not down, just apply for membership as described in the sticky thread.
But in my opinion queenzone is a lot better for collecting bootlegs and roios, because people here really care about the quality of the shares (lossless, best versions, lineage etc).
For a good start I recommend pittrek's "Best of the Best" series: link
and the really nice artwork made by Vali: link
Good websites for detailed informations: link (concerts, recordings) link (bootlegs)
I guess these links will keep you busy for a while :)
Enjoy !
For mp3: link link
video: link
for FLAC you can search here or my advice is joining the HUB,I've been in QZ since 2002 and downloaded more than 230 concerts but in the HUB I've found nearly 30 concerts that have never been shared here before.
There are a lot more you can get here - click on Queenzone Tracker Status which shows most all torrents which were uploaded here. You can also see if they are being seeded - if not click on the link and ask for seeders. Good luck!
His name is "fatoldsun", meaning he's a Pink Floyd collector, and he used the term "RoIO". This should pretty well indicate that he's not interested in lossy music.
------------
Fatoldsun,
I definitely don't recommend going to the hub for recordings because few (if any at all) have proper lineage given. And there is plenty of mp3 passed off as FLAC in there. There are no quality standards there, so steer clear.
There are tonnes of shows to download from the link that Daffy posted, all lossless, a fair chunk of which are either from silvers or are RoIOs with proper lineage.
Enjoy!

Ok good luck then, many of the torrents here died and in very few exceptions they are back...

Excellent. Nice list... you've done pretty well so far. Just be careful with titles, as there are a lot of people who pass off their RoIOs as bootlegs by creating cover art for them. Have a look at my website to get an idea of what's out there.
If you're after pre-78, then here are a few to go after:
London 3-31-74 (make sure it's the pre-LP)
Portland 4-28-74 (transfer of the master cassette)
Santa Monica 3-29-75 (not March 22... wrong date given on the LP bootleg cover)
Manchester 11-26-75 (first gen tape)
Osaka 3-29-76 (there were two shows from that day, and both have great recordings)
Copenhagen 5-12-77 (LP transfer)
Glasgow 5-30-77 ("A Day At The Apollo" silver with 2nd gen filling in the gaps)
London 6-6-77 (VHS transfer)
New York 12-1-77 (be sure the date is Dec 1, not Jan 12... there are two audience sources)
Houston 12-11-77 (VHS transfer)
And these two as well, even if your cut-off point is '78... they are essential listening:
Copenhagen 4-13-78 (Wardour silvers are good enough)
Montreal 12-1-78 (Continental Sounds silvers)
Most of them should be available in the "concerts list" link above. If you ask people to seed, someone (probably Ginger) will probably come to the rescue.

Torrents come back to life very easily - just bump them! Someone (me or another QZer) will seed. And it's a lot quicker to seed than to reupload something to mediafire or whatever, if I may say so...
Anyway, glad to help out if I can! :)
