Hi
(Please excuse the second posting of this question - I put it on the 46664 thread, but I'm repeating it here as I suspect it might be missed there.)
I've just downloaded the 46664 concert and want to burn it to DVD. I'm using NTI CD & DVD-Maker 7. Do I simply copy all the files into a video_ts file?
The files it contains are:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
I tried this and the dvd player said it didn't recognize the disk... Any advice welcome!
Because you didn't create a "DVD-video" but a "data DVD full of DVD-ready files". It's more complicated then simply creating a VIDEO_TS directory and copying all the files there, because the files must be burned in the correct order, and the IFO files need to be usually rewritten.
Ever heard about ImgBurn ? Since I tried it the first time, it's the only burning software I use now
To help a DVD player "recognise" your disk as a proper DVD, you should add an AUDIO_TS folder "beside" the VIDEO_TS folder in the disk filesystem root (it does not matter if the folder is empty).
Also, remember to "finalize" the disk when you burn it - several DVD players will have trouble if a disk is left "open" (to further writing / sessions).

Thanks for the responses!
Still don't really know what was happening there - tried all the tweaks for the NTI CD burning software, added an AUDIO_TS folder and finalized the disks, but a handful of disks later still no joy. In the end I downloaded imgburn and followed their step by step guide, and that worked a treat!
Now another question: How to remove the Mandela intro, just to keep only the QPR part, without a minor qualty as result.
I use Pinnacle Studio, but it couldn't recognize the files...
