Any self respecting Queen maniac like us should know this.
But is Brian May still married to Anita Dobson?
Here's why I ask.
I looked up "Scandal" a while ago, and it's obviously about the British tabloids harrassing Brian and Freddie about his divorce/Freddie's health.
But then somewhere else (I forget where), it says that Anita's still married to Brian.
I'm confused.
Sorry for betraying Queen fanatics :P
Thanks,
-Conor
I believe you're making a fundamental mistake. The tabloids were bugging him about his divorce from his first wife CHRISTIE. Anita Dobson is his second wife, to whom he is now happily married.
Isn't she about in her late 50's or so? She still has a good figure and she looked fine to me when I saw her with Brian in that little red carpet interview (the one where the reporter asked about the hair jokes and Brian got miffed).
I saw the expression change on her face as soon as the reporter asked that question. I think she was thinking, "Oh, no. Now he's going to be upset." It can't be easy being married to someone that gets upset about such little things. So, in that respect, also, I think she looks pretty good. Ha.
Both Brian and Anita have been married before. Brian was married to Chrissie May who was a model in the early seventies and Anita was married to Den Watts, a pub landlord with a shady past. The marraige ended on Christmas day 1986 when Den discovered that Anita had been lying about a life threatening illness she had and she discovered that Den had murdered a taxi driver in Germany. Den later set fire to a pub belonging to a rival who had raped his friend's wife and he went to prison. He later escaped but was battered to death with a bunch of daffodils in a gangland hit. He came back to life later but was battered to death again by the bionic woman and a cyberwomen from Doctor Who.
fatty.

I think really, one will only get Fatty's post if they're British. (As in, familiar with Eastenders, I wasn't throwing any snobbery in there.)
Is it not possible for one to google a question that can be so readily answered?

and the best bit is that its all absolutely true, apart from the beating to death with the daffodils that is.that was a gun hidden in a bunch of daffodils as a couple walked past him down by the canal.
whatever happened to Wilmot-Brown?
We used to have Eastenders here (USA) - on public TV (PBS, which is viewer supported broadcast TV). Maybe we still do. I saw most of the Den and Angie stuff, but it was several years delayed. They were the best thing about that show ... besides Dot and Ethel.
