My ex is leaving, shes moving to france, its been a while since we talked to each other, however I had always kept good memories bout our relationship and her personality. Yesterday she wanted to see me, so we could say goodbye to each other, which I agreed. What I found was someone who was lost, someone who looked like the person i fell for, but she wasnt there anymore. Shes 19, and she is dating a 41 year old who is getting divorced and has 3 children. I feel let down, desapointed, weird, a bit broken hearted. I know must of you dislike me, however I know there is people in here that must have a mature point of view, which I´ll appreciate. Thanks for reading |

I think your feelings are normal. It was just a shock, that's all. You will probably feel a little bit better in a few days of rest, sun if you can get it, exercise, and good food (no alcohol - it makes things worse). If you feel she is making a mistake, why not tell her. Then, at least you won't have any regrets in that respect. It was nice of her to say goodbye, in any case. Good luck. |

They tell us about what is electricity in the schools instead of lessons "Who are the girls?". Old bastard Serry came through that shit and he knows what he says. I've bought my famous black BMW and things became better. Now I'm gonna buy Porsche Cayenne. I've no idea how it helps, but it helps. |

I am sorry to hear about this, Adolfo. But she obviously has some issues, most likely dealing with self esteem and what not. The same thing happened to a good friend of mine from high school. He had a major crush on me, but I didn't feel anything but friendship for him. He totally lost it, when super-Christian and moved to Canada to marry a woman who is 35 (He was 23 at the time) who had three kids from a previous marriage. Not too long ago I heard he was getting divorced, and I got in contact with him just to tell him I was sorry and was here for him if he needed to talk. He responded back that he was going to come down to his parents house and that we should get together for coffee...or dinner...or something and told me 6 times (count them!) in the e-mail that he loved me. I responded back that I wasn't going to be able to make it down that weekend, that we could go out and have coffee some time as friends, but friends is all we would ever be. I never heard anything back after that, but I heard from his mother that he went back to this woman. I feel horrible for him, but he's obviously got issues with all of this stuff and can't accept the reality. Your ex is in the same boat...she's got herself thinking that this is going to solve all of her problems. You clearly know it isn't, but you can't force her to confront her demons. She needs to do that on her own. As hard as it is, you need to let her go and let her make her own mistakes. That is all you can do at this point. You will be fine in a couple of days. Good luck! |

Thanks for readingI have a 19 year old friend and he is dating a 43 year old man. I wouldn't call it lost. Sometimes people like older people. I hear it all the time in fact. |

I think the older spouse thing is gross on principle, but fuck it. If I could marry Elizabeth Hurley, I would. |
Winter Land Man 16.04.2008 01:41 |
I just don't think you can call someone who is in love with someone much older, messed up, in any way. I just think someone's still in love. I mean, it's natural of people being attracted to people of different ages. If I was single and Samantha Fox wasn't a lesbian, I'd date her. I'm physically attracted to her, and I'm 21 now, and she was 21, when I was born! |
john bodega 16.04.2008 01:55 |
Yeah but she was kind of hot. More often these days I'm seeing young folk go for old folk - and not the kind that age well. Old folk as in wrinkly sack of shit with an annoying laugh and terrible taste in music. |

Adolfo wrote: Shes 19, and she is dating a 41 year old who is getting divorced and has 3 children.Sounds complicated. Either she'll realize one day how stupid it was, or she'll actually be happy. You have to get on with your life and come to terms with the fact that one of those two things will eventually happen. Don't wait for her. It's the worst thing you could do to yourself. Keep yourself busy and motivated. Give something back to the world. It's much better than moping over a girl who needs security from a man twice her age. |
Hitman 18.04.2008 08:44 |
holy words Sir! don't lean on every word she tells you :) she's quite upset inside and still able to make damages ;) |
