Yeah.
I've noticed Danny has a new bass guitar now, which is really similar to the one John used on the Magic tour (all black). Hard to see though - you'd need to watch the DVD version, cos YouTube really makes it hard to notice
Spike as always added his distinctive touch, clapping along to C-lebrity and playing the triangle with all his heart during All Right Now. Awesome musician.

He was definitely underused here. Embarrassing really.
You couldn't hear the clicker-thingy he was playing during ARN. He was more or less a backing vocalist only.

Minor point, but I think that Spike was not playing the triangle - I think it was claves!!
:-)
I've got to say, it was really nice to see the same Brian/Paul/Roger/Jamie/Danny/Spike lineup. It seems as if they've settled on a band, and won't be rotating their core group out.

Good band now - tight and more settled. Should get more polished perforamances on this tour!!

Danny's black guitar isn't all that new, he just didn't tour it last time out. He has picked up a couple of new guitars, however, as well as a new lineup of amps that he picked up at NAMM.
Still trying to figure out how to get over to Europe this tour instead of waiting for a return to the US.
For anyone in the UK who might be interested in seeing Danny play, he'll be doing a number of Blue Oyster Cult shows during June. Not sure if he's doing the first four shows on the Continent, but he's definitely going to be playing the UK dates.
