I'm deffinately going to catch him at the Astoria next friday, very rare that he sets foot in england (the same can be said for his ex-band KISS). Anyone seen him before?
Ah, good old "Space Ace". His solo career was less than stellar, but for a man of his age, he still has some skill. I think it would be a good show.

Ha! I WISH I could go!
And... are you kidding me? His solo career didn't get the recognition it deserved! (Granted, this is coming from the girl who has all his solo records, so...) Sure, "Second Sighting" had a few songs that were, uh... less than great, but hey - there was not a bad song on "Frehley's Comet", not a bad song on "Trouble Walkin'", nor was there a single bad song on his stellar '78 solo effort. Then again, this is coming from a die-hard, so... Don't listen to me.

Totaly get you. I haven't heard all his solo stuff, but what i have heard i like! PLus he's such a great guy, who cares :P
He did a bad job singing on "I Will Be With You (Where The Lost Ones Go)" on Sarah Brightman's "Symphony" (which is a fantastic album otherwise!). I prefer the single version with Chris Thompson (which was released in Japan only)
EDIT: Oh BAH. I just had it pointed out to me that I was actually talking about Paul Stanley, not Ace xD

Exactly! He's such a sweet guy, and he rocks - that's all I care about. AND he's been sober for at least a year and a half... ^_^
