what the hell happened? Not that I AM worried- I live in UK, but... I know so many ppl were looking forward to that, there was a HUGE interest in this show...
WHAT?!?!?! No concert in Gdansk?!? NOo NOOo please say it's not true!!! WHY?"... WhY?!?!.
Although i think that's only a rumour. The date is not shown in the shedule, maybe because it's a "free" concert. It hasn't been on the list before, too.

They are to announce new dates in the UK to accomodate the wishes of the Polish fans!.... sorry, you will have to be British to understand this posting.

that's a little funny.but actually i don't want to laugh cause the concert would have been near my country..it could have..
It HAS been removed from all the tour schedules, but no official explanation has been given yet.
They haven't specified (yet) whether it was actually cancelled or not.
I think it would be better for those interested to "do as if it was cancelled" and find another concert in another country, that is not too inconvenient to attend.
It would be quite a shame...
Official info from QOL:
"We have heard from the promoter of Gdansk that there may be a problem with the sponsor for the concert and therefore at this stage we cannot confirm the date or put tickets on sale."

What's more interesting than the actual reason for the confusion is the fact that this is yet another poorly drawn out press release by QP...
To whom exactly were they going to sell tickets to for a FREE concert?

Well, even if it's free, you need a way to ensure that only a limited number of people will attend - if anything, for security reasons.
A way could be: make a well-defined number of tickets available, for distribution through the appropriate channels at zero price.

When was the last time you've seen a free concert with tickets? I know I haven't seen or even heard of such.
Either way, I still wouldn't call it SELLING the tickets.
hahah the new hoax from QUeen productions :P they can make up a new brilliant one every now and then!
that was quite priceless by the way
thank youuuu!

What's so 'huh?' about it...? 40 milion people country doesn't deserve a gig? GDANSK being a very historical place, where SOLIDARNOSC happened, where Lech Walesa came from (Peace Nobel Prize winner, leader of Solidarnosc), one of those places where people made possible for Iron Courtain to go down, to disappear... It all happened in that shipyard where they were supposed to play... So this 'huh?' only shows your ignorance, lack of any knowledge of what happened in Europe in 1989... or 1980 for that matter...
Anyway- I'm not surprised by the TURN of events, unfortunately... There are reasons why I'm not living there...
I'm sure it may have been a 'Huh?' of suprise about the 'FREE' element of the concert, as indeed i did. Taking nothing away from the historic element of the shipyard!
News from FUNDACJA GDANSKA- organizers of GDANSK gig...
Ain't gonna happen... The sponsor pulled out at last minute... embarrassing,if you ask me... and...
...it's gonna be really bad when they take Euro 2012 and give it back to Italy or sth... can happen... with that level of professionalism...
