I just got my Live at the Rainbow '74 DVD in the mail (I found it on eBay) and, from what I can see, it looks suspiciously like a bootleg.....is it? Just wondering.
Live at the Rainbow 74 was officially released on VHS years ago as part some sort of boxed set. What has obviously happened is that whoever you bought it from has copied it straight from VHS to DVD, or has got it that way themselves.
Hmmmmmm.....yeah, I think you're right, because the DVD didn't come with an information booklet like all my other Queen DVDs. And the cover kinda looks like it's been photocopied from somewhere, or something.
Yeah it always seems to happen that way these days. As soon as Queen put something out like Live At The Rainbow, someone always tries to make a fast buck on ebay.
If you want to know about what was officially released then John Stuart's threads are a good place to start link
other good and helpful sites are Bob's (Sir GH on here) site link
and link
Hope these help.

It's either a bootleg or a home-made DVD. Can you post the link to the auction?
