Here are link great comments : link Description of the show here : link And Bob's interesting website tells that : link Please do not convert in mp3 if for personal use only, don't share it as mp3 nor as mp3 disguised as Flac. Bad behaviour. If someone could create a torrent of this, that would be great help (I ask to avoid you asking for !!). Unfortunately I can't do that. Feel free to comment this show, and why not to explain what other versions exist of this and so on. So I shut up now ! Enjoy, Regards, Olivier, France. |
pittrek 11.01.2008 11:56 |
Thanks you very much ! Can you please correct the date ? They were playing in Leiden that day, they played in Brussels on 21.9.1984. A very good share, thanks ! |
RoyThomasBaker 11.01.2008 12:11 |
Please check the date. And Thank You very much! Downloading it now. |

Great show. One of the first concerts I ever traded. Although I'm not pretty sure I strongly believe it's a first gen. (master > LP > cd > cd-r) |
Queenrockyou 11.01.2008 13:07 |
Hi, I don't know what's wrong with date. I wrote "20th September, 1984" and you tell me 20.9.1984... Isn't it the same ? As far as the lineage is concerned, that's what I was told, maybe someone knowing more that sort of thing could help. Are you there Bob ? Regards, Olivier, France. |
kudilja 11.01.2008 13:17 |
hi! well, the thing is that on 20.9.84 queen had a concert in leiden , holland,.... you should change your title to 21.9.84 |
RoyThomasBaker 11.01.2008 13:20 |
Maybe Sept.21 (or August 24) link |

I already have this show, got it in a trade with ducksoup:-) It's really nice to see all these shares. I'd like to contribute next month:-)(now I have exams, exams, exams) |

Great SHOW. Big thanks |
Queenrockyou 11.01.2008 15:08 |
OK yes, it is 21st September indeed, I made the mistake of trusting the date on the back on the sleeve without checking. Apologies for that. Unfortunately I don't know how to edit the post. So if you download and read this, CHANGE THE DATE FROM 20/09/1984 TO 21/09/1984 and also correct the info.txt file. Don't trust the cover !!! That's a rule I should have known by now. Thanks for having checked for me !!! Regards, Olivier, France. |

Ducksoup wrote: Great show. One of the first concerts I ever traded. Although I'm not pretty sure I strongly believe it's a first gen. (master > LP > cd > cd-r)Since it was from an LP originally, it's impossible to know what the tape gen is. Thus, "AUD > ? > LP" must be the beginning the lineage, as the topic starter has said. |

Can someone make a torrent of this show (maybe Ginger?)? I have no rapid-share account and I have to wait 2 hours between every download session... :-( |
Queenrockyou 11.01.2008 15:25 |
Yes, a torrent must be a good thing. Personnally, I can't use them, but as soon as I discovered Queenzone I bought a rapidshare premium account, not that expensive and really helpful !! But I won't make them publicity for free... So just wait, I'm pretty sure someone would make a torrent shortly !!!! Regards, Olivier, France. |

Many thanks Ginger ! You will complete this share nicely ! Don't forget to correct the date, 21th September, not the 20th... Regards, Olivier, France. |

Yeah, the guys were really rocking in Belgium, a nice place for rock lovers, I always heard that bands begun their european tours there to test their stuff, and the reaction is quite often a good reaction from the audience. I live in France, at the border with Belgium, just a few kilometers from there, and here the audience is very good too, but for rock or hard-rock gigs you sometimes need to be really careful, as the other fans are sometimes going mad but the wrong way. I don't hear so many problems in Belgium, the audience is quite full of respect and the shows are always a nice time everybody can enjoy ! This show was very good, even for a post-70's period, hope all of you enjoy this !! Regards, Olivier, France. |

Thank you very much! |
Rzodek 12.01.2008 08:15 |
unfortunately, in my opinion this is mp3 source. I downloaded first part from rapidshare and checked using audacity's spectrum analisis... Cheers |
Queenrockyou 12.01.2008 08:21 |
It comes directly from the CD silver, not a copy of it... Would it mean that the silver itself would be mp3 sourced ? Is that possible ? Regards, Olivier, France. |
Rzodek 12.01.2008 08:39 |
It comes from Liar |
josedequeso 12.01.2008 08:56 |
This is not mp3 sourced, this comes directly from the silver cd, so unless they were pressing mp3s to silvers in the mid 90s (when this disc was made) then this is in my opinion just hiss reduction. I examined bits of the whole show and the cut is at different frequencies throughout, if it were mp3 it would be a universal cut on all the tracks. The best program (in my opinion) in telling the difference between hiss reduction and an mp3 is Trader’s Little Helper, it said “track looks like cdda with probability 100%. My conclusion: hiss reduction, although Rzodek it’s nice you’re paying attention ;) |
pittrek 12.01.2008 08:57 |
Rzodek wrote: It comes from LiarLiar looks lossless to me . Also I checket the first 5 tracks with Audiochecker and it says for every track "This track looks like CDDA with probability 100%". |
Queenrockyou 12.01.2008 09:06 |
Same for me, Audiochecker used on the CD1, and it says CDDA probability 100% to all files except the 5th file (76%), the 6th file, and the 9th (86%). Possible that it just hiss reduction or something, I don't know, I myself didn't alter anything after converting the silvers in Flac format. Really think it is lossless, but discussion is opened to search for truth or explanation ! Regards, Olivier, France. |
Rzodek 12.01.2008 09:19 |
Well, pardon for confusion :) I thought that everymp3 source is BELOW or little bit above 16 khz on the spectrum. I checked also one of my mp3 files and the spectrum was quite similar... Cheers again;) |

Thank you for this. For some reason, I didn't download this one... So now I have to deal with freaking rapidshare's cats xD |
Queenrockyou 22.04.2008 03:21 |
Yep !! But I think it worths it, it is a real good one in my opinion. Regards, Olivier, France. |
Harry_queenrecordings 22.04.2008 08:33 |
Any update about the quality, someone?? Does it sounds better than most versions around?? |
daffy_the_duck 22.04.2008 09:18 |
I don't have other recordings to compare but it's a good one and according to queenlive.ca (excellent site by the way!) it's the best recording of this show! |
FaBu 13.09.2008 14:13 |
I wrote a question on the torrent site about seeding, but it never appeared on the front side. Please Seed, or has this become official? (I can see 1 seeder). These links are all dead. Thank you! |
Queenrockyou 13.09.2008 15:57 |
Hi dear Fabu ! Yep, it happens sometimes with the torrents. Anyway, I think the rapidshare links always work, so in case you had problems with the torrents just give a try with the torrents. If something doesn't work with the rapidshare links, just warn me and I'll correct that ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |
FaBu 13.09.2008 18:27 |
Thank you very much for your kindness, but the torrent seems to work ok. now. |

Hi Oliver, I'm getting an error on all six CD parts of the download. The artwork and info work fine. All CD parts are broken links. Thanks alot for helping. |
Queenrockyou 14.09.2008 13:27 |
You're right, so it is on my "To Do" list ! Stay tuned ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Hi, Olivier! I've just returned from the swimming pool! Yeaaahorrow! Quite happy when I get the chance to swim a bit. :-) I'd like you to share your views on these recordings, your personal views, feel free to do so, I love this kind of thing. By the way, I ask you all to do that! Speak up your mind, Olivier, don't let the corporations intimidate you!!!!! :-) |

Your a starToo much, I'm only reuploading something, not offering you a ticket for a Queen show ;o) Reupload is on the way, check the first post for new links (in a few minutes, CD1 will be done). Once downloaded, would you agree giving your opinion/review about that, as asked by Yara ? I'm myself not that good at giving reviews, and prefer let anyone decide whether they like something or not. At least I can say I like the artwork ! regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Re-uploaded ! See first post for new links. Enjoy ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Dear Oliver, first CD comes from "King's Favourite silver" (VG quality, see SirGH site) while second CD comes from the original "Kings Favourite" LP (Ex-quality). I am sure at 100%. Can you check your version? |

Can you check your version?Well, I'm 100% sure this is taken from the silvers CDS, both, as I extracted the tracks myself. But the CDs are probably taken from the LP ! REgards, Olivier, Belgium. |
The Real Wizard 23.09.2008 01:05 |
As far as I can tell, the content of the silvers is from the LP, but it was processed by the bootleg company in some way with the end result being a bit worse to my ears. It seems their aim was to reduce the tape hiss, but they lost a fair amount of the high end. |
riccardo 23.09.2008 11:56 |
Ok Olivier, I trust you. Anyway, can you confirm if it's just me or really this version has CD1 in worse quality than CD2? Cheers from Italy |

Thanks for the reupload, and for all the recent reuploads (I guess a lot others to come !). I can't visit Queenzone as frequently as I did before (that's why I haven't posted any new bootleg here for some time), and with this recent megaupload "problem" (after a Rapidshare problem previously), I thought there would be something really wrong, and that all the links I posted would be dead for good, which saddened me a lot. But of course you were to save the Queen world !!! So thanks a million for your involvement ! Kind Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

Last year I did need to collect lots of those recordings because one of my HD's died (1.5 TB of Queen files was simply gone). It feels good to do something back now to replace all the files which I have downloaded last year :) What I can repair, I will repair ofcourse. |
